I would assume that once you get your blogs set up and do all the work promoting and getting in the serps, you will continue to pay to stay. If you bail after a few months, he will get to keep the sites going, so it would appear to be a win win situation for him in the long run.

I am not saying he is doing anyone dirty, as he is giveing this for a great price. I am sure he has a game plan of some sort, or at least I would hope so.

I think it will be on bam bam's servers, it makes no sense him putting all the work in just for someone to rob him without paying the "stay fee". I'm really tempted but not sure, just started researching my own autoblog programme so to speak tonight and I think I ought to go it alone for a couple of weeks just to see how good I am - no point getting help for something I can do myself.

Autoblogs confuse me, because when I look at the theory I think "this is too easy" so there must be some sort of technical catch that I'm missing that I'll run into at some point.

If you take a look at the ordering page i've updated the renewing prices. $5 per month for 1 to 15 blogs, $10 per month for 16 - 25 and $15 per month for 26+.

I'm pretty sure 26 autoblogs will bring in more than $15 per month.

Let's say he gets 100 domains done, even if 10 of them renew, that means he makes $30 just for adding those sites to his server. And the remaining, well they just gave him the motivation to work on 90 blogs of his own and paid him 50 cents on top of that

So after a deep calculation, it is profit

I've been looking for some sort of formula (to work out what server to rent), but 200 blogs, say 100-500 posts per day = a reasonable amount of resources for half a cent per blog per day.... ~ $1/day for 200 paying custs for something that prob needs more than a $30/month server. ($35/month will get ya a p4 2.4Ghz, 512Mb, 2500Gb dedi)

Assuming it's using mu, generic domain, same theme, etc then the time is fairly insignificant, but 25p for 3 months hosting without the hassle of complaints and stuff still sounds fuckin cheap to me.

Is it using mu? Which plugin?

How many feeds are you adding for each site?

Roughly how many posts does it make per day?

What do you mean by "if your niche is taken..."? (How big are the niches? - is porn one niche or thousands?)

Could we see an example please? (pm if you prefer)

Maybe it's the keywords, ad placement, number of feeds or anything else but you are making more per blog than me so I'm interested.

It is using WPMU with a customised plugin.

Each site gets around 5 or 6 feeds, pulling in anything from 20 to 100 feeds per day.

The niche is taken thing, dont worry about that anymore. Its not relevant anymore.
