Got a half dozen articles from Don. I asked for and received a few pictures to go with them, too. I found that I had to edit them all, but that may just be me, I'm pretty anal. Don writes well enough, and there are no obvious errors like spelling or grammar , just tone and word choice.

You are better off emailing him at Dlbott AT Hotmail DOT COM. He doesn't check in here that often.

Hey everyone. I am still here. Had a couple of bad weeks. I suffer a great deal of pain. That is how I ended up writing, not able to do much else. Anyway, I appreciate all the work and kind comments. I think everyone has been pretty happy with their articles. I try to write keyword rich articles that you the client want. Keywords in title, first and last sentence etc.

For some reason I do have some issues with PM box here. So your best bet is to email me at dlbott@hotmail.com

Got my first article and it was very well written and worth the money. I did have to make a few corrections, but nothing major and only took a few minutes of my time.

The only thing that normally would have annoyed me a little is I got $6 article instead of a $3 article. But it was still worth it, and due to the insignificant amount it's no biggie. All it shows is that the article is written for quality, not word count.

Waiting on the rest of my articles now - ordered 10, and will probably order more.

As far as a website critique goes, you might add some content for yourself, any or all of the following:

1) Some info on why people need content and why regular additions of content can help search engine rankings and keep the site's visitors thinking about the site.

2) Since your minimum article length is fairly short, frame that as a perfect solution for people trying to build moneymaking blogs who don't have the time to maintain them but who want better quality than they can get out of a spinner. (I mention this because many people looking for articles under $5 are probably in AM and are building blogs, doing article marketing etc. so they're a natural audience for your services, and some content along those lines will help you when those customers are Googling around for a provider.)

3) Info on English as the dominant language of the Internet, about content as an anchor for a site generally, and the importance of a native English author (not necessarily true, but will make sense to a reader.) "Don't be fooled by $3 article writers at freelancer sites" etc.

Anyway, those are just some suggestions for getting non-forum-driven eyeballs to the page.

Also: RAISE YOUR RATES. If you're in a bind and trying to help your family, competing on price is only grinding you down. Once you get a full workload you'll find yourself churning it out 40 hours a week for peanuts. Compete on quality and service, and leave the crazy cheap prices for the forums where you're a member so you can build standing.

Hey everyone, checking in to say hi and that I am still writing. I wanted to make sure that I have not missed anyone. If you need content email me at dlbott@hotmail.com or dlbott@phpmarketing.com. I am still only charging $3 for article. The 250 - 300 word count is the guide line. Most articles actually average over 300 words. I do not charge again until the article hits 600 words. If a client specifically wants a certain word count I usually charge a penny a word. It works out better if you just let me do it. That is up to you.

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who has ordered content. Reality is you guys have really helped my family. I do not make much at $3 an article and should be a sign that I am sincere and trying to help pay the bills.

Anyway, I wanted to say thanks to everyone. It is greatly appreciated. Keep it coming.

P.S. I put up my first attempt at affiliate marketing and posted my first article for myself. It has not been successful thus far, well I did get to number four on a long tail on google. Was pleased with that. If anyone would like to email or pm me and offer some advice it would be appreciated.
