Hey mods & admins ... If we're going to censor some threads and comments made by users about certain topics, why can't we kill all this cookie stuffing shit floating around our board lately.

There's nothing good that can come from programs like this for affiliates and it's certainly getting people taken to court.

Absolute worst case scenario, ebay shuts down their affiliate program and other offers lower their payments to compensate for fraud of this type. Does anyone really want that?

edit: This is coming from someone who has stuffed his fair share of cookies in the past so I'm not putting on my bleached white hat here.

Cookie stuffing fuckwads are on my list of scum and if I find them, I have no problems banning them. If I meet them at ASE, ASW, Adtech, or in a dark alley, I have no problem beating them into a bloody coma.

Cookie stuffers are thieves, plain and simple. Even though WF can be a rough and tumble place, it's not Mos Eisley (a den of scum and villianry). Most of us have some ethics here.

lol @ mos eisley. I agree though, you're screwing over the advertiser and being credited unduly. It's not hard to see why you're essentially betraying both the network you're working with and the advertiser in question by cookie stuffing.
