DesignDorks is a classy guy. I messaged him to talk about the logo, and when I found out his logos were PSD (I'm looking for a vector one) he was very upfront about his vector skills vs. PSD skills. In the end we decided not to waste each other's time, but there is now one review copy spot open.

I'll definitely look to him when I need a PSD logo done.

really good service, quick work and very detailed oriented.

after the PM, DesignDorks and i discussed what i was lookin for in a logo and within the hour he provided a good concept which blended well with the site, nothing too over the top or flashy, but a nice logo that fit well.

definitely recommended for a clean cut logo design

This guy told me he can't do vector logos....that is a lie.

He IMed me out of the blue today saying:

So I was like OK!! And BAM, he comes up with this not long after (its a vector file):



Fucking awesome..."can't do vector logos" my ass! Of course I ended up paying him because it was so good - I highly recommend Dylan!!

I paid Dylan just to give him a review, didn't need a logo. He's a really nice guy and easy to work with... with that said, the first logo he sent wasn't much more than a font with two colors, so he agreed to do a new one.

I told him to go to zensix.com and just come up with something new. If he was going to change the logo, what would he come up with... I told him that I was going to publicly post what he came up with for public viewing. That way you can decide, and not just take my opinion...

Here's what he came up with:



Again, he's a nice guy, but I wouldn't really use this for anything. His work in the first post is quite a bit better imo.

if the font wasn't so pixelated there could be something to work with... price is definitely right for quick sites - but probably not for main branding of a site that you're putting real money behind.

good luck dd with future sales, you can definitely build your chops here - but get ready for some trial by fire.

i was doing $10 banners and headers but refused to do logos at that price...

Now on to the review:

1- Contact
The guy was very friendly, he checked my site, I gave him the idea that I needed to convey. He responded quickly, politely and was intelligent and articulated.

2-Delivery Time
He told me he would have it by Monday at the latest (which is 2 days over the weekend, not bad). But he managed to get it to me in just 4 hours!

3- Quality
His quality is incredibly good for $10. I'd normally expect this quality for twice or even three times the price. I must say I get the feeling from his designs aren't very experienced (I've dealt with designers that have 15+ years experience and charge $xxx per logo). But I think he is almost giving away his work, and with the volume he will get due to the price, I'm sure he will get better every day, and if he sticks to it, sooner or later will move up the price ladder.

I'm going to order from him again, since I'm always building new small sites, and the price/quality is more than right for most of my purposes.
