small coding job needed
A client of mine wants to run a legit contest. So I need a very simple coding job:
A form where people just need to put in one field. Then the system needs to give that user a unique number, starting from 001 and going up to 999. It then needs to keep the association in a database between field 1 input and the output number. I will also need some way to pull this report. I need it to run on a Linux box and work off of an MySQL database. Please let me know if any of you are available for the job, and what price you will charge. |

well, it would be very, very unlikely because it is only for the client's client base.
But now that you point it out, I'll have it go to 9999... a number I am 100% sure will not be reached. Even 999 would be a big stretch of the imagination. And what I meant by unique, is that 1 number = 1 entry, without giving the same number to multiple entries. |
