$500 Landing Page Contest - WickedFire - Affiliate Marketing Forum

I have a parked domain for the term "Sirius Radio" that receives over 2000 type ins per month and generates a "whopping" $100. And that's with a CTR of 50%.

I'd like to unpark this domain and direct these type ins to a landing page. This landing page will have content and will have strategically placed CPC (Adsense) and CPA (Azoogle) ads.

Contest Guidelines:

1. You need to indicate your intent to participate in the contest by posting in this thread by Thursday of this week (Feb 1st).

2. You will need to PM me a link to your submission by Monday Feb 5th. Please do not post your submission here as to ensure your work is not duplicated.

3. On Tuesday, I will post all the entries on the forum for discussion.

4. On Friday (or earlier) I will announce 3 landing pages that will be moving on in the contest.

5. I will run each landing page for a week. The landing page that generates the most revenue/per visitor (revenue divided by visitors) wins the contest.

6. The winning landing page will receive a minimum of $150 and a maximum of $500. I will take the revenue generated for the week, less $25 (what the domain currently makes in a week) and multiply that amount by 4. I will take the greater of $150 or that computed amount with a cap of $500.

7. The two runner ups will get the revenue they generated for the week less $25.

Damn Chris! He's just trying to get a decent landing page. This could be a great deal for a n00b that has no money, but wants to get into the game. So, they create a page, win, get some cash, and edgistics gets a landing page.

or here it is edgistics is trying to get you to do his work for him and pay a measly $150 to $500! he will pay you for the income on the first week while he is optimizing the campaign if he knows what he is doing. If he said ok we will do a rev split for 1, 2 or 3 months at a % of the profits that would be different but anyone who is any good at this is not going to give him anything!

so you want someone to create a landing page so you can TEST it before you pay for it? how about, you pick your favorite layout/landing page, and PAY up front for it and then test it. If you know anything about landing pages or read anything on here, you will know what WILL and WONT work.

I'd be willing to design a great landing page looking similar to the actual sirius website but with adsense and CPA mixed in, so this way the colro scheme of the website and everything will make people "think" they are on the legit sirius site.

devore, the winner is guaranteed $150....and based on the results receive up to $500. The point of the contest is to engage the community in a contest....otherwise, I would have simply made a post on scriptlance to have someone build a landing page for me for $150.
