"I don't understand why everyone hasn't upgraded." MyReviewPlugin 3.0, here NOW.

Current users can upgrade here. For free. Like always.

MyReviewPlugin 3.0
The better review plugin. Available today.

It's been a few weeks since 2.1 - and I've finally wrapped everything up for 3.0. Some of the really cool new features for 3.0 include:

  • Automatic post icon generation with thumbshots.
This is simple and simplifies the generation of these sites a lot. Automatically include screenshots of the sites you're reviewing instead of specifying your own post icons (or in addition to - just to fill in the gaps)

It takes one checkbox in the UI to enable this. Like most other things in MyReviewPlugin!

  • Vertical comparison tables (in addition to the already available horizontal comparison tables)

Easily show as much data as you like about your products in a horizontal style comparison!

  • 3 new awesome themes.
  • IMPORTING RATING VALUES FROM CSV.
  • New importing modes, tons of usability tweaks, UI updates, and more stuff not listed here!

Of course all of this is in addition to everything that MyReviewPlugin excelled at in the past: the best database importer on the market, great, realistic looking comment generation, and the absolute best automatic "one click" style embedding you could expect from a review plugin.

MyReviewPlugin really is the best WordPress review plugin for affiliates, but don't take my word for it (because everyone says theirs is the best) - take the words of BlackHatSoftware.net, GrindStone, Popeye and literally tons of others.

I just finished testing this and I have to say I think it is way better than both WP ReviewEngine and WFReview. The amount of features and options surpass both and the integration part is downright awesome. The yellowpages.com import is kick ass as well.

Popeye said:
I was able to throw up a nice looking review site with all the bells and whistles within 15 minutes (10 of that was actually writing content). The plug would be great for newbies with no design experience and it would be a killer tool for those that could go in and tweak the look and feel. I recommend myreview plugin and don't really understand why it isn't getting the attention that it should on this forum.

I also received a review copy and have been playing around with it. I'm impressed. Really impressed. I own WF Review, and think it's a great tool, and Nick's support is kickass. That being said, for a non coding dumbass like myself, MyReviewPlugin 2.0 allowed me to set up an attractive review site really quickly.

I've tested WP ReviewEngine and have found MyReviewPlugin to be the obvious leader in the WordPress review site market. Its ease of use, effectiveness, and superb customer support is unmatched. Rely on MyReviewPlugin to eliminate tedious tasks and focus more time on what's important to affiliate marketers: making money.

Why aren't more people buying this? It's such a sick plugin, and the ease of use is incredible.

Just buy it.

the vertical comparison table feature looks great!

what i always notice first when looking at the various themes of review plugins: the ratings of the comments should be on top of each other (on the left or right side of the actual comment content and author info / comment date) instead beside each other (below or above the comment). it hurts the whole theme and looks unorganized!

since we're at it and to my understanding the op is happy about feedback, the input fields of the comment form should be aligned.

Thank you everyone!

@phrench, if you'd like me to do that for you, I can easily customize any of the themes (or any other theme) to show the ratings like that. Free of charge of course. Just email me at support@myreviewplugin.com. That goes for anyone else too.

I'll also implement an option in the themes in 3.1 that lets you easily switch between the modes AND I will go through and align the comment fields right now and call that a bug fix. Thanks for the suggestions!

Mark.

I'm getting a lot of great compliments (I assume mostly from WickedFire users, since I haven't really promoted this anywhere else) from my new influx of customers and I'm VERY appreciative. Thank you everyone!

I've already started on the next version, so if you have feature suggestions, please get them in via PM or email ASAP. I've got yours on the list, phrench (and I changed the comment fields alignment, I think you'll like it!)

The point here though is to let everyone know that I just pushed out a new build. Existing users can download it at www.myreviewplugin.com/private/recover.php. It adds some "Advanced Settings" page settings to control Import Man import speed and JQuery embeds (for compatibility with other plugins), refactors the JQuery implementation to be completely unbreakable no matter what other plugins you're using (before this, and in at least two of the other review plugins, the JQuery implementation was pretty stupid - it uses the same variable name as the default JQuery so it causes compatibility issues with all other JQuery plugins), and added settings to control what pages to autoembed Google Maps.

Nice :)
That's what I call active development!

Does this mean in 3.1 I'll be able to have the comment ratings the way I want them? Not sure if I got you here ;)

@phrench, that's exactly what it means. I'll make sure you can automatically embed comments "floated to the right" like that.

@spdstores, where are you getting a download link? I accidentally mis-spoke the URL in the last post to recover a download. Download/Recover Installation Package - MyReviewPlugin will get you the download page.

I just tried it and it's working with a proper key. Send me an email if you're having trouble getting the download and I'll send it to you directly.

Mark can i generate editor rating in your plugin, because i already get your plugin and want to use amazon datafeed, the only problem is amazon datafeed only have one category rating, so if i can i want to generate another rating category based on amazon customer review in editor review.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Of course you can!

Go to Bulk Modifications, check the box for the rating category you want to enable, enter the editor's rating you want to use (or range to generate) if you want to generate editor's ratings, and select "All Categories" in the criteria area. It will add that editor rating/category to every post.

For faster tech. support, please email me support@myreviewplugin.com. If you have any trouble at all I can do what you need for you on any site. :-)

I have a simple question. Is it relatively easy to upgrade from a single site license to a multi site license? I ask because I want to test it on one site first and make sure I like it then move up to using it on multiple other sites I have going. Oh, and I would also be curious to know when you think 3.1 will be released?

writeordie, just send me an email (support@myreviewplugin.com) when you're ready to upgrade. No problems at all.

As for 3.1, it's going to be called 4.0 since it's become such an awesome upgrade... and I'm not willing to make a guess, but I'll tell you it's coming together really well - if you're an existing user, you can ask me at any time and I'll build you up a working distribution to play around with.

It's a damn good plugin.

The importer kicks ass and offers everything but the reach around. I absolutely love the 'importing rating values from CSV' and the 'processing settings' that do string manipulation on the fly during the import.

Tons of features, great support, and no requirement to 'out' your URL's/niches each time you make a new site.

It's a no-brainer.
