Wait until you start playing with swype, completely painless to learn & use. This coming from someone who used to hate texting...

Picked up a Sprint Epic the other day... I like the fact I can actually hear the other person clearly vs the blackberry I dumped for it. Other than that it's great except I pretty much need to charge it twice a day and I'm not using it that much either. Screen is so bright you have to turn it down all the way just save some juice..

I also have a Samsung Vibrant/Galaxy S. Great phone.

My Quadrant score after some patches from the XDA-Developers forum. Still running Android 2.1. This should go up even more with 2.2.

Gaming with Qualcomm Snapdragon (Droid/Nexus One/Evo/Etc) vs Samsung Hummingbird (Galaxy S)

LCD (Evo/Droid X) vs AMOLED (Nexus One) vs Super AMOLED (Galaxy S)

I can now type faster with Swype than I ever could with a physical keyboard.

There is a "night mode" on the camera that works better than the flash ever did on my previous phones.

Night mode demo.....

Same phone here. Although if you have it with ATT, they make it nearly impossible to upgrade the OS (they want you to just buy the 9700 I guess). But the update is so nice. Threaded text messaging is the most important upgrade, IMO.

Also, even though it can be buggy as fuck (as it's still in Beta), I highly recommend the Grooveshark mobile app. So nice to be able to stream any song your heart desires whenever you want. And its only like $3/month. They have it for other phones, too, but I don't know how well it works.

For the Blackberry Bold (9000), it won't work unless you're running version 5.0 (at least in my experience).

Hey guys, I've never had a smart phone before but am realizing I need to get one in order to keep up with my work so that I'm not swamped at night when I get back from class.

Do most of you guys do work with these phones also? I'm switching to verizon, so I would need soemthing that is great for checking emails, internet, etc (obviously all of these do that). What features do you guys find you use the most?

At launch, Motorola DROID's native exchange solution doesn't support password security policy or remote wipe.

I tried to do both for awhile. suffice it to say the blackberry lost.

Iphone 4 now.

Let me say however, that were the EVO 4G available in canada, it would have been a close call.
