So - I run a pretty large Call of duty forum, as a side project/hobby. Recently I've been speaking with a company who custom makes controllers for xbox, etc. etc.
Well, turns out he's been making a controller for my site and is offering to hand it over to give away in tournaments, to sell for profit share, etc. I thought it was pretty cool, and I figured I'd share my first physical product with my 2nd home (wf, duh.) 1st image is the design (just the shell) 2nd image is an example of the buttons he will be putting into our controller, it will also have some programming modes and fancy flashing LED lights for effect. I personally love the buttons. What do you guys think? I thought it was pretty generous of him.

Yeah I've been thinking a lot about further offline marketing for them. The only problem is they are all hand made, each one is unique. Mass production I feel could be a bitch. We will see what happens after the release of the first few to the public! I'm excited to say the least!

??
Step 0: Gauge the market - do a poll on your forum, for example Step 1: Contact chinese controller ripoff manufacturer Step 2: Let them silkscreen 'em bitches and make the bullet buttons Step 3: Get a bunch delivered for cheap $$$ Steep 4: Profit ::emp::

Nice man... that's a money controller. The bullet casing buttons are the shit!

Thats pretty cool! Back in the day, I used to buy PS2 controllers that were modified specifically for playing Socom 2. Made reloading mid-fire a thing of the past, and probably made the dude a boat load of cash.

Yeah this company includes 8 different firing modes in each fully assembled controller, so it's pretty sick. I'll keep this thread updated with progress on the controllers and different designs and what not. Here is another picture of it in the light btw: ProModz | Plixi woot!

LOL, of course I do. I play Socom Confrontation on the PS3 now... which is the only one I've played since Socom 2. I hated all the rest.
