I don't care if it's a fleshlight or a bookshelf. I'm not talking about software.

For me it has GOT to be my dual screen setup. Best investment I've made in a very very long time.

Shoot.

Ergonomic office chair had a $50 one before, shelled out $190 for a new one best choice made ha ha

Also second screen for a second pc so i can use linux on the main desktop and run all the windows apps i need on the second and control them both with synergy.

It's gotta be my awesome set of office chairs and upgrading all my computer's monitors to at least 22" (though the main ones I work on are 23" and 24"). Also, grabbing a microwave burrito instead of making "real" food saves a lot of time and makes you more productive in the short term. Just make sure that before you start working and after you finish working that you get some "real" food in you. I wouldn't recommend surviving on those things (though I am guilty of this a lot of the time). If you live on them then your productivity goes down in the long term because you start to feel like shit.

I truly hate that response,, switch to Mac you will get so much done :)

But I also use a thinkpad for other windows based bots and stuff, a I don't want to install windows on my Mac. But seeing Mark Zukerberg use a Vaio, in that movie... I was looking at some Vaio last night

A $70 monitor mount that enabled me to turn my 3rd 24" widescreen vertical vs. horizontal. At first I thought a portrait-oriented monitor would suck but I'll never go back. Certain applications are easier to work with when you have 24" of vertical space to display them in. Best decision I made for my spreadsheets (and Stats Remote too).
