So about a month and a few days after I commission him to do a site for me, I still don't have the site. I was told it would be done in 48 hours, definitely not. I kept giving the guy chance after chance, which I probably shouldn't have done, and I got the standard "I'll have it for you tomorrow definitely" response about 10 times. He rarely responded to IM's, but then about a week into it, he was trying to sell me viddex.com. Damn, did he answer IM's then. Everytime I would come back from away he would try to convince me to buy this site for over an hour. Then for about a week his "Girlfriend, Fiance, and Wife" would all answer his IM's saying he was sick. But his latest excuse is that one of his friends died in the line of fire over in Iraq. I don't know if this is true or not, but if it isn't, that's pretty shitty. He said that about two weeks ago. I then heard from him about a week ago saying I'd have the site next day, nope no site to this day. Anyways, just be weary of this guy and his company. He's also been scamming people at YE - Everyone Be AWARE!!!...Of Cre8tiv-Vision - Young Entrepreneur Forums which is pretty shitty seeing as it's all kids there. I've filed a claim with paypal so I'll probably be getting my money back, but still, he's scammed about 5 people that I can count.

Sorry man.. this isn't the first time this has happened with you, and I gave you a serious warning about it last time, and you promised it was a one time issue and would never happen again. I am not doing it because I think anything less of you, but because I will not tolerate people who advertise services and then claim a string of bad luck issues one after another, there is no excuse for this shit. I see this all the time with designers, programmers, etc. It's time it stops. How ironic that this shit happens to only the designers and programmers of the world, but never to anyone else.

To anyone thinking about becoming a consultant, designer or programmer, you may want to reconsider, because apparently they have the most out of the office accidents and misfortunes than anyone else, and only when they take on a project with a deadline. Amazing.

I don't really want to do a full scale search, though. Even though a Marine Colonels death would be newsworthy enough to easily be searched. But I guess there is a small chance that [R]Devore is telling the truth. I'm a vet and so the thought of drudging up a military officer's death to settle a ~$300 dispute is pretty sickening.

[R]Devore knows what he has to do to make this right. Whether he was telling the truth or not is inconsequential now.

but i too, have been victim of this guy.

about 4 months ago, i had him start to design one of my clients legal marijuana dispensary shops, he started the logo, designed it out, showed me the layout and then disappeared.

what sucks about this, is that because he said he needed the cash right away, and not wait for a check from my client (who takes forever) i agreed to front robb the money ($450) because hey, we were friends.

then he dissapeared, after designing the site, never coded it or anything.

countless phone calls, then he moved. nothing

phone got shut off.

found his fathers [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]phone [COLOR=blue ! important]number[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] on anywho.com, called him and asked for robb's number, i have that but he never answers my calls or returns them.

he blocked me on myspace, doesnt take my messages.

nothing.

i helped this guy with so much money, fronted him many times, only to eventually get burned by him, because my dumbass thought we were friends.

you emailed me once when angela accidentally answered the phone and said you didnt live there, saying you got locked up and you were gonna finish the work...but i already had to pay someone else to finish it....

dont deny any of this either, because i know you see my phone calls, my emails, messages and everything. but nothing.....

i just wanted to let everyone know this situation, and hopefully robb and i can resolve this.

i have emails, messages and phone calls to prove it if anyone is interested.

This guy is a complete scumbag.

I found out on another forum that he ditched the company that he scammed everybody under and has now started a new company, Viccore Media, which he's a member of Wickedfire under.

So I took a break today and decided to do some digging. I IM'd the new company on AIM - viccoredotcom. A nice front was put on by him. I'll paste some key exceprts of the convo.

Alright, so I'll cut to the chase. I emailed him at his new company and tracked the email with ReadNotify.com. I then emailed his old company and tracked that as well. Shit. What do you know, everything matches up!

At this point, I'm laughing my ass off. So I decide to confront him about it.

That's probably the best ownage I've ever done in my life. I'm tempted to Digg and Slashdot this story because it's along the lines of the Stolen Sidekick story.
