So about a month and a few days after I commission him to do a site for me, I still don't have the site. I was told it would be done in 48 hours, definitely not. I kept giving the guy chance after chance, which I probably shouldn't have done, and I got the standard "I'll have it for you tomorrow definitely" response about 10 times. He rarely responded to IM's, but then about a week into it, he was trying to sell me viddex.com. Damn, did he answer IM's then. Everytime I would come back from away he would try to convince me to buy this site for over an hour. Then for about a week his "Girlfriend, Fiance, and Wife" would all answer his IM's saying he was sick. But his latest excuse is that one of his friends died in the line of fire over in Iraq. I don't know if this is true or not, but if it isn't, that's pretty shitty. He said that about two weeks ago. I then heard from him about a week ago saying I'd have the site next day, nope no site to this day. Anyways, just be weary of this guy and his company. He's also been scamming people at YE - Everyone Be AWARE!!!...Of Cre8tiv-Vision - Young Entrepreneur Forums which is pretty shitty seeing as it's all kids there. I've filed a claim with paypal so I'll probably be getting my money back, but still, he's scammed about 5 people that I can count.

Looks like he hasn't posted on WF since 3/15. That sucks. I hope you guys get this worked out because he seems like a good guy.

I had to contract him out for some work. He stopped answering my IMs around the time noted above. Good thing I never paid him.

There is only so much you really could of expected from someone from michigan.

This board is great , seems like a higher % of people get scammed here including some old mods.

I wonder whos getting ripped off next?

Maybe more of the mods or ex mods, then after you get ripped off you can come back to post only to reply to threads all pissy cause you got ripped the fuck off.. you know who you are .

I bet next thing will be a lawsuit

But to the thread poster, just goto michigan , find his addy.. trust me that whole state is in ruins, most homes stay on the market for 180days so go find his ass probably sittin in some trailer park or 2family rental house with the neighbors internet connection and get your money

it must just be that season or somehting, this has been happening to me with my coders for my site also, im gettin pissed, it should have been done months ago but i keep gettin shit like oh i should have it done this week, but then i hear nothing from the guy and it takes a few PMs from me to finnaly get them to respond.

Sorry man.. this isn't the first time this has happened with you, and I gave you a serious warning about it last time, and you promised it was a one time issue and would never happen again. I am not doing it because I think anything less of you, but because I will not tolerate people who advertise services and then claim a string of bad luck issues one after another, there is no excuse for this shit. I see this all the time with designers, programmers, etc. It's time it stops. How ironic that this shit happens to only the designers and programmers of the world, but never to anyone else.

To anyone thinking about becoming a consultant, designer or programmer, you may want to reconsider, because apparently they have the most out of the office accidents and misfortunes than anyone else, and only when they take on a project with a deadline. Amazing.
