I come here and post my opinions and I got a bunch of peopel telling me to fuck off and stuff


I don't understand the point of wickedfire. I though t it was suposto be an easy going kick back place where you can voice your opinion (even if it is unpopular or critical) without having to worry about getting banned or a warning.

I have accounts on difgitalpoint and other webmaster forums and I make similar posts yet no one takes too much offense to them. I dont get any warnigns and no reports me to a moderator.The irony is that the so called 'strict' forum are more leniant than WF which has alot of rules and apparently fragile egos.

You can cuss as much as you want but you cant criticize someones idea? You u can't tell someone that they are acting like a n00b? I don't understand. If someone is acting like a noob I have the right to let them know.

In conclusionm, the code of conduct is too strict. People are too sensitive to having thier feelings hurt by criticism.

I learned a long time ago to treat others as you would like to be treated. So, you being an asshat constantly means you get treated like one. If you got banned under an old username, come back under a new one, get banned again, then perhaps the problem is with you?

There's nothing wrong with criticising people, but just saying "you're a n00b" isn't very constructive. If you disagree with something, say why. That way you can voice your opinion and actually be helpful too.

I can understand the confusion so I'll try to explain it. When we rip on someone and flick 'em shit about an idea or post its for the sake of a joke or just for the humor of it. It's because we are comfortable with them and know not only can they take a joke but they can dish it to. Despite how much shit we talk we actually all get along very well here and help each other out constantly in and outside of the forum. So when a newbie comes in and decides to join in thats cool, but not when they are clearly doing it just to be mean and put down others for the sake of being an opinionated asshole. So if you think one of my ideas are stupid by all means voice your opinion, but either voice them so your opinions are helpful or a joke. If you can't do that than get the fuck out.

Or if that doesn't work for ya, Jon always has the ban hammer ready.
