Question How much $$ does it take to get into investing in real estate?

I'm got some cash sitting around and I would like to put it to work. Im curious as to how much $$ you should have when trying to get into real estate?

Totally depends on where you're based out of and where you want to invest. Figure, in CA you probably need $1M line of credit just to start. In OK, you might be able to get away with a minimum investment line of $200k.

With less than $500k, I would look at the Mayan Rivera or Panama. Booming areas that you can make a good return with very low risk.

Eduardo.

anchorage? Is that like someone where you can anchor your boat?

Maybe.... acreage....?

Oh, for reference, the county where I live in CA, average home price is 650K+

In the city I live in, average home price is 800K+ with many new homes worth 1.XX+

California sucks...
