I thought I remembered seeing a list of wordpress plugins you should have everytime you start up a new wordpress blog on here, does anyone recall that thread or have a list or few useful plugins?

There seems to be a ton of Meta tag plugins not sure which one to get, also looking for a Sitemap plugin as well...

Another that I use quite often is

Another Wordpress Meta Plugin 1.92 | uberdose 2.0

It creates a form below the create page and create post box and allows you to add meta descriptions and keywords to that page or post. There are also auto description plugins, but I prefer the manual for many of my WP sites, more control and what not.

I use the following:

Ultimate Tag Warrior - Using this, I can easily tag my posts, which in turn gets me free links from sites like technorati.
Share-This - My visitors can easily bookmark my pages on their favorite social networks.
Exec-PHP - Being a PHP freak, I can run PHP code in my blog posts.
SEO Title tag (or something like that) - Enables me to easily change titles of my homepage and posts.
Adsense Deluxe - Very easy to manage adsense ads on your blog.
