Just finish reading shoe-money blog and read that New York Post did a article on Adsense Arbitrage...Here is what they quoted him saying

"“If advertisers get a bad return on their investment, they will stop spending money,” said Jeremy Schoemaker, an AdSense expert who runs the popular ShoeMoney.com blog."

So i guess his the go to guy for adsense and Arbitrage crazy....Anyway I guess the June 1st date is pretty big if it hit the New York Times

Its a VALID POINT

As a adwords advertiser myself I stopped the content network because all I would get was useless clicks and a waste of money.

Its sad to see so many people who really thought arbi was a source of income that will help you to reitre.

The thing is...I have had to block an advertiser on a daily basis...who keeps coming back with the same ad, but with different domains. He had his cheap cpm ads up on my site, and it was killing potential revenues. I finally got tired of playing games with him, and his bottemless pit of domains, and I switched from adsense to affiliate banners.

Now I am less than an atom in the bucket of google, but I cannot imagine my experience is unique. If blocking sites gets too annoying, publishers who notice the problem will just drop adsense. I cannot imagine that any publisher who DOES NOT notice is really doing much business at all. Most of us would look at a particular page and see a drop in revenue from $20 to .20.

Some of you guys are not looking at this from the publishers point of view at all. You are too savvy at getting cheap clicks. As publishers see revenues drop, they will play the blocking game for awhile, and then give up and use something else to monetize.

Although i've never met shoemoney personally, I think he is a good guy and he usually seems to have good intentions, however whenever he posts something on his blog, tens of thousands of people are going to read it, no matter what it is...and if its about something he doesn't know much about, its going to cause more harm then good.
