Question Yahoo is showing me ads from a different location

If I search on yahoo for terms that trigger localized ads, yahoo seems to think that I am located in a different state than the one I'm in now (but not google). I registered a LLC in a different state, and then I used the registered address of the LLC to fill out whois info on a few domains. Yahoo's ads are showing like I'm in the state and city that my LLC is registered in. The weird thing is, however, that I have privacy guard on these domains.

Is yahoo somehow reading form data from my browser (FF)?

Did the info to register the domain pass through a yahoo-owned website or subsidiary?

Do I have spyware or something on my computer?

Any ideas?

Yes. Confirm by using another browser. Then clear your search history.
