Good morning Mother Fuckers !

Thanks for adding in there SEO Mike and I agree wholehearedly with everything you had posted. That's why we make a great team.

One thing I would like to emphasize is the phone and communication. I agree 110% with that as us computer fucks get hung up on a computer and PM'ing and IM'ing is great but a good phone call is a million time better and more efficient. Plus like he said it builds much more and becomes a friendship. I love you Mike!

OK, that said. I wont make this long. Here's what I did yesterday for our biz
  1. Our main goal is to make these sites semi-passive with adsense income and other offers to monetize a high quality conetnt site in the travel industry
  2. I have an existing domain (active 45 days with 30+ pages of contents and 10 good high PR links) no ranking yet. just doing arbi with various pages and having small success without ever tweaking my campaign
  3. The terms we are going after (in one venture) gets something like 200,000 searches a month. I decided to start devloping a blog on a domain that is keyword specific with dash ex:ass-hat.com and scrape content and ping it like a mofo and post some shit on Digg for linking only as a test to see what site we can get ranking first
  4. Search we are going after, #1 in Google has a PR3 and is revelant but in no way is it what searchers are looking for
  5. Purchased $50 credit at fotolia to have some nice pics on the site to make it sticky
  6. Submissions to free directories all by hand done daily and link requests (having great luck because our site in unique and doesnt compete with everyone)
  7. Estimated possible income once we get rankings in the big G and stabilize is $3,000-$6,000 just on adsense based on my ctr right now of 21%-30% daily. We figure it will be much higher when we are found organically
I know what I said is like um, mother fucking beginning SEO shit but new marketers need to understand that it is easy but hard work and it's a process to achieve LASTING success with a quality content site. Sure peddle your offers and think of ways to make fast money today but don't forget the long term goals.

If your patient and you work hard and systematically, then you will achieve success.

Remember this is a case study of a real life partnership being formed here and with it's progress updated daily. That's it.

Update SEO Mike's ass talked me into registering another webite in our niche and it looks fucken nice and tight. Perfect.

A perfect example of how teams work and 2 minds are better than 1.

Update on money: Day 2 = $8 via adsense

$4 for SEO Mike
$4 for BYA

Off 2 blog posts, pinging it and driving 87 uniques

Looks like a profitable niche so far.

Everyone have a great fucken weekend and keep it real on here! Oh yeah, PETER DRUCKER'S STILL A FUCKER

What's the niche? Can you tell me what keywords you're using? Oh, and if you could include the affiliate offer that would be really cool too.

Wombats - small Australian marsupial

Keywords - Wombat, Wombats, Breed Wombats

Damnit, there goes all hopes of keeping this solid Wombat market secret. My high 85% CTR is already going downhill FAST.

Quick Update:

What turned out to be 3 websites looks like SEO Mike and I are going to try and take over a whole niche that we feel is completely 100% doable.

Meaning a network of possibly 10-20 related sites is what our goal is with a cetral hub website as the main focus and clean feeder sites that feed off the oth of a sitemain one. All quality content sites with the HUB being the mammoth of a site.

Mike and I spoke about time frames and this really is a 6-8 months project on when we expect to reach our goals and monetize our efforts.

This is a long term, long lasting online business empire plan. Not a 1 day or week but one we plan to work on till we retire or sell our online profolio.

This will be something that we can retire on from the residual income and possibly pass on to our children someday. Much like real estate or money.

I still am doing online mortgage leads and working with mortgage brokers to make a gret living while Mike and I pursue our business. Because it is a business and we are now business partners.

That's my bread and butter and I also have some big plans with that that I plan to announce shortly. Quite possilbly my own affiliate offer with one of the highest payouts in the industry. Stay tuned on that because the first affiliates that jump on that will bank big time!

Build your empire to now bro. Get those niches started (if you havn't done so) where you can rank high in Google and with work hard, quality sticky sites, have a 6 month to 1 year goal to start cashing in and you'll be golden!

Cheers from Southern California!

Update:

Yep, right now getting the site(s) in order, adding content, having content written, talking about other plans that we may or may not fill you in on (you'll have to wait and see), downloading shitloads of pictures, working on logo designs, basically all the pre-launch stuff that everyone goes through.

We decided today to switch from Joomla for the one site to Wordpress. Joomla is too overkill, and WP kicks it's ass for overall SEO-ability, instant traffic generation, and ease of setup. So, after talking it over for about 40 minutes or so, we decided that WP is the better choice. For the other site, it's not as big a deal if its SEO'd or not. It kind of coattails of an existing site, so most, if not all the traffic will come from that site and possibly PPC.

Moe, want to add more?

I'm sure you two are inspiring others. Totally on the right track.

Question: Where are you guys getting royalty free images from? Or do you just not care and wait for someone to complain then switch it? Heh

Like you, I concentrate mostly on content sites because it's these sites that will dominate the future serps. Our goal is to become number 1 in google with a grade A site that is all 100% original and that includes photos.

We're using fotolia.com at $1 a photo and it adds up quick. The last thing I want is if we dominate our niches we will be in the public eye and under scrutiny by jealous fucks, so we want to be as legit and ethical with our process as possible.

This is a little off subject but pertains to us and WF. This place is amazing to network and meet like minded people. Don't trip on PM'ing a senior member, MOD or Guide here. Just don't bug anyone with PM's or IM's.

Be respectful and you'll get respect back

Everyone is helpful. I've spoken to Jon, SEO Mike, Smaxor and many other here via IM or PM and it's fucken cool. We have a tight community and maybe Jon should think of a WF summit soon? That would be a fucken blast. So Cal is the place, hint.....

Anyways, this is called networking folks and I'm good at it. I believe the time I spend here even though it feels like it's wasted in all actuality it's not. I feel that my income because of this networking and making freinds with like minded people will eventually explode my knowledge and bank account.

I feel Mike and I have a great start in our patnership and are destined to succeed in our venture and I look forward to other possible networking opportunites.

This is kinda a general question. But what do you think will be putting you above the competition?

Filling a need? Careful keyword research and SEO? Your promotional skills?

Argh.. I'd love to partner up with someone like this.
Right now I feel in a funk, cause I am running against the walls in my own head all the time.

Not gonna happen, cause I am out of sync with you people and still working 9-5 for a living.

Just feel Blargh right now...

I always look for niches that someday I can dominate and that just starts with researching random keywords. Ones that just pop in my head, I'll place them in the checker and see what longtail keywords pop up. That always my starting point. I always will find this fucking keyword where I'm going what the fuck is this? What are they looking for? Then I'll look to see in Google what it is? Most of the time it's a broad 2 word keyword by dumb internet searchers. You know the ones that type in say chinese food when they are looking for an all you can eat chinese buffet in New York.

My goal with my site is to say be at #1 when they type in ex: Chinese Food and then take them to where they want to go by providing the content that they were looking for. So insetad of them typing in another search term, I capture them with my own mini, quality, sticky, niche search portal.

I think the old set and forget it website building is not the way to go for long lasting business models. Content sites will rule the internet and I'm not a black hat, so a cat and mosue ganme with google is something that I think woulde be a losing abttle eventually. So we plan to basically do it the old fashioned way. Out smart, out work, out write and out link the competition.

Once we get to the top, the plan is to never stop the momentum and not get lazy once we succeed.

So long story short. Build big fucken King Kong sites by good ole fashioned hard work and out work the competion who has no idea what the fuck were up to and when they do, they will be eating our asses.

interesting stuff guys

BYA I have to admit that I was a bit annoyed by some of your posts when you joined but you're posting really good stuff here man!

I see you're using istockphoto and fotolia, you might want to have a look at dreamstime as well, I use them a lot

I had a fucking bad experience with partnerships, I was the guy who made all the work and we split the (low) revenue, nothing special if the partner wasn't my cousin, yes, my cousin!
since that I do everything on my own

Thanks Icecube. I'm French and a Southern Californian, so maybe that's why I can be so annoying sometimes.

Just remember most of the time I'm just doing it to screw around and to intentionally annoy. I kknow when to turn it off too.

Hey Mike,

Have you looked into Expression Engine?
ExpressionEngine - Publish Your Universe!

Everyone talks about Wordpress but I manage over 30 small niche sites on one install of EE. They now have a free version out for everyone to test drive. It's essentially the same as the pay version but with a few missing modules like email a friend. The only drawback is the limited number of default templates and they're not the best looking. But the good thing about EE is the flexibility, so you can design your own templates and make anything from a subscription site, a portal, a blog or webstore from it.

If you want to expand you can even buy their forum module and plug it in. It really is an elegant piece of CMS and the support (only for the paid version) is excellent. I've never found any other CMS with this level of quality.

I don't want to sound like I'm pimping their wares, I'm not an affiliate for them but I thought I should point web marketers to a great piece of software for what we do, especially since there is a free version.

Shit, I guess we forgot about this thread BYA.

Anyhow, been working on some SEO for the sites. They are both up and we're adding content daily. Funny thing is, the project keeps shifting around. The ultimate goal hasn't changed much, but as we progress, various elements of it do. Focus shifts, ideas on monetization changes, etc.

There are elements that have progressed much faster than expected and others that didn't develop so quickly. No big deal, such is business. That's something every n00b needs to learn very quickly: flexibility. Don't get over-focused on something that you refuse to allow for design changes, schedule changes, and even goal changes. Business is fluid, and you need to learn how to adapt to the ebb and flow or you'll drive yourself mad (bet you thought I'd say "you'll drown", nope, didn't want to be that cliche')

Anywho...we may have something big to announce soon, but there's still stuff we need to implement first. Don't worry, Wickedfire will hear about it before anyone else.

Yo Yo Yo!

OK, I 've been so fucken busy that I can't even post here or my blog. I actually forced myself to not visit blogs or forums for a couple days and today will be just an hour in the morning. Time management becomes the key when your working on various projects.

Mike and I have been going back and forth and it really has shifted to monetizing the traffic I get on an existing website that I use for home loan lead generation and that's what Mike is talking about as the big announcement. We want to recruit people acroos the nation to work with us on a huge project where we combine efforts of say 100 people to dominate the serps and my niche.

There is no reason that if I made well over a $100,000 my first year from California that we can spread the wealth to someone in each state and eventually each county where affiliates can make good change on a real offer that they actually own. You see that is the key. We are not just going to say hey pitch or shit and make x number on a lead. We are going to teach you how to convert that $x lead into $xxxx buyer and your profit. Fuck this having to gen 100 leads to make $1,000. Why not 30 leads and make $5,000?

This industry is filled with the old "Leading people to the fish hole and let them learn on their own." We are doing the old school hard method where we will train people, like I'm training Mike, on how to fish, how to skin the fish, how to cook the fish, what seasoning are good on that fish and some great side dishes to complment that fish.

I have been in the real estate business for 8 years and in my niche for 1.5. So I know what the fuck I'm doing and I know how to sell. I will teach you what I know and mold you into a salesamn on the interenet and on the phone, so you to can make mad cash.

This will be a business and not an offer. A chance to change your life and own something that you can work daily to perect and corner a market in your arrea with online and offline advertising.

We will work out the kinks and approach Jon because we are going from forum members to actual company owners who will be plugging their company to WF members. So we need to make sure we don't cross boundaries and piss off advertisers.

We now have a total of 4 projects. Like I mentioned before, one project will be 6-12 months in the making and the rest will compliment what I am already doing.

This thread isn't just about making money but the forming of a business relationship and friendship into a money making mother fucking adventure and we hope to spread that into a one of a kind project that will give oppotunity to those who desire it and want to put their hard work and soul into it.

Thanks Ajay! I dont know about down under but here in the states the RE market is taking a dive. So what does a smart marketer do? Monetize people who need my help. The market is headed south so whats the next big thing? Foreclosures and Bankruptcy's so get your shit ready for the US revolution and monetize the poor saps who bought a house they cant afford with loans they should never of been in.

If you want to make money, get in the money business like Ajay. Real estate and mortgages are the highest mother fucken items you can profit on in sales. Why sell port o potties when you can sell dreams and hope?

The key here is learning a trade you can live off of and not just make a quick buck. You can make as much as a lawyer or doctor after 1 year if you put your heart in it. Not many other business's you can do that in except illegal ones.

People skills and internet skills needed, If you have that then the rest is easy shit.

Bingo! And the rest of the affilliate world still is doing ring tones and blockbuster offers. Where is the creativity and the brains to see you will make more money in real estate and mortgages then at one time offers. Even with the market down and it being competitive.

Investors will pay huge finders fees for locating thses properties where the borrower is in distress. If you get those leads, you can work a 3% finder fee. And on a $150,000 house thats $3000.

If you had a great offer, landing page, offline signs, pennysaver and 800 number where you they can call you and you take the information and forward it to the investor via fax or PDF attachment then you don't have to worry about tracking.

All you need is 1-3 a month and you can make a great living during this market.

Learn a high paying trade where you can make offers and use your design and SEO skils to help you while you learn the business and perfect your skills.
