Pretty cool idea.

It just goees through yoorl.com/?code=xxx and probably sticks it in an iframe to track how long the user is on the site, location, etc.

i guess I understand how they do it for emails- but i didn't think sms text messages would be the same... if i type a url into my phone, it doesn't come up as a link that I can click on to follow.

*edit* ok, when I text my email address the link shows up as a link. if I send a text from my phone to another phone (not a smart phone, just a standard verizon LG), the text shows up text, not as a hyperlink.
