I've met very few Australians in Australia who give a fuck. Cricket is an excuse to get away from your wife/gf/whore and have a few beers - much like baseball is in the states. Aus had a really good day in the field but then went in to bat and had 2 wickets in the first 10 minutes. I normally don't watch cricket (apart from T20's) but it was looking pretty shitty on both sides.

Just checking on the score it seems we picked up a little bit better after the first 10 minutes of bullshit and are only 70 or so behind the Indian total...we might go alright but I reckon we'll fuck it up in the 2nd innings it seems we're good at doing that.

lol couldn't agree more with the Australian national pride thing. Reminds me of the time when we claimed Russel Crow as ours but when everyone hated him we said oh naw he's New Zealand lol.

But yeah as for cricket Australia used to be awesome but lately they have really slipped. We have become so desperate people want Warny to come back. Personally I think we need to have a whole reconstruction from the training to the process of deciding who wins...cause let's face it, it's mostly old fucks who are out of the times who make the decision of who plays for Australia and who doesn't. Hell the indians are so good now because they brought in all younger players, took a beating for a couple of years and now they are easily one of the best teams....well it also helped that the match fixing was uncovered.

Anyways while I am an Australian I can say with certainty that India will probably win. I might watch some of the game but I think before long I will be back on my laptop and trying to hussle.
