Boycotts are a temporary solution. As long as states* exist, some will lobby for privileges.

The key is convincing people that states act out of coercion or violence against person and property. There is no other reason for states to exist. A lot of folks (rightfully) have a difficult time justifying their support for a violent entity guilty of continued theft, murder, and general mayhem. That is the reason I take this path.



* Note of clarification: I use the term "state" because it is easier and less confusing than referring to a bunch of individuals given power to rule others by coercion and violence.

If people are more upset by SOPA/PIPA and the effect it would have on their Internet, than they are concerned about NDAA/Targeted kill lists for Americans, then I would say expecting a revolution of that sort is a bit much.

About the Black March protest, I would partake but frankly I can't think of one single product/service I subscribe to that gives them money. Nothing.

All the entertainment one ever needs is either free on the web or can be checked out for free at the local library. How are those greedy old bastards surviving that?

@Jake: It appears that you are catching Guerilla's disease that prevents you both from correctly identifying the enormous unlikelihood of the mainstream public embracing Anarchy within our lifetimes. I want the same goal too; but to Not take part in Black March because your time is better spent bringing down world governments is well past absurd.

the reason the website outage worked and spread in the media is because it was short, sweet, to the point, and didn't require any action on the part of lazy americans other then clicking a petition link.

Anything that requires 30 days of action AND involves not spending money, just isn't going to take hold. American's are far too lazy and non caring to make a campaign like this effective.

Best recent example: Occupy Wall Street. Was popular for a month then dwindled out and absolutely nothing got solved by it and people don't give a fuck.
