A new filesharing method?
I've been contemplating about building something like this,
A software client that streams from Usenet/newsgroups. i.e: giganews.com Right now all the clients just download them.. perhaps it can work for movies/tv series. The speed is faster than torrent, thoughts?

LOL, appreciate the thoughts luke but I "think" it's 100% legal since newsgroup have existed for awhile now.
What I'm doing is just allowing for music/movies/tv shows to be streamed as opposed to downloaded.. haven't given this a full thought though.

Make no mistake my friend; any action you take that FACILITATES illegal content getting into people's hands will get your ass put away for years once it becomes popular.
I don't care if you're using radio waves or smoke signals to transfer shit; if a fed in the pocket of the MPAA sees that something you've done has made it easier for anyone to get possession of their content without paying up first, then it's just a matter of quantity. Once enough people start getting that content, you should expect a SWAT team at your door shortly thereafter... No matter which country you live in, too. The one exception is if you comply with all DMCAs of course, but that really sounds like too much of a pain in the ass to keep up with, if even possible at all. Just ask Kim Dotcom. If he couldn't do it, why will you?
