Ive heard about a few certification programs that companies use as benefits to lure employees into bettering themselves. Apart from the GAP certifications, what other options are available in the market? Monies aint an issue at all.
BTW, are you certified or a street smart homo?

Find the topic you want to learn, search around wickedfire for information then spend money on testing.
^This is the best way to learn and it will be way more practical than online certification course simply because the rules and algorithm are updating everyday and the stuff in those certification will never be able to catch up. consumer mindset is probably the only thing I will spend money on learning, but you can find tons of information on those too. I have a blog focus heavily on understanding consumer mindset, because at the end of the day, "internet" is just a tool, you still need to know what your prospects are thinking in order to market your stuff correctly.

there are legit courses out there, not everything has to be about linkbuilding.
There are brand management courses, that are expensive but big businesses can't get enough of. One of my friends is a social media monitor for a major british chain. They have some pretty impressive software that would make tweetdeck look like MS paint in comparison. Anyone utters anything about the company it gets picked up where it's on a blog post, tweet, facebook comment, or forum. Literally anywhere. They respond to it, treat the complainant super good, rectify the problem straight away and build the brand back up. he goes on courses on brand management all the time, gets paid shitloads to essentially surf the net. Has serious power too, he has a direct line to all the sales, customer services derpartments and can give away free stuff to anyone. Just saying, there's a HUUUGGGEE world out there outside of doing seo on small affiliate sites.

I guess they're worth it if you're planning to get a high bracket job (100k+) as an IM Manager at some Fortune 500 company or something like that... other than that I don't see the point. I'd rather learn on my own.
