So 2 things to ponder about the latest news about MU and filesonic.

1.) Who is going to create the next upload site ? Anyone here really thought about it. One of the biggest players was taken out of the game and others are closing up shop. Make sure not to have any US servers........

2.) Is it just me or why hasn't rapidshare been shutdown ? Either they just lay low, or have some deep pockets. Rapidshare does a ton of more volume then MU.

There has been a lot of saying that MegaUpload being taken down has a lot more to do with just the file sharing they were responsible for.

And the other file sharing sites closing down for their own safety are just scared pussies.

yeah most other file sharing companies are pussies lol. But just amazes me ( it shouldn't) that rapidshare is way bigger then MU and they are just chillen lol.

eh no, the mega network (megaupload, megaporn, megavideo, etc) had 4-5x more traffic than RS.

MU didn't give a shit they thought jsut because they live abroad they can just chill, they didn't account for the fact that this little island called new zealand would turn them over at the drop of a hat. LOL. Seriously why the fuck with new zealand try and get into americas bad side by protecting 3 douches?

Also they were pretty casual with DMCA stuff, rapidshare is shit for piraters because they remove stuff instantly, megauplaod just took the piss. They were hosting tonnes of movies on there, heard of icefilms? it's a xmbc [open source media center] app, where you can browse and watch any of the latesest movies, a bit like netflix, but it has all pirate material. guess where all the movies were hosts? mega upload!

RS would not stand for thiss hit, **allegedly** MU probably just changed the url and told the DMCA guy "oh yeah thanks for informing us we just deleted the video", meanwhile telling the uploading "here's the new url dude, protect your links". **/allegedly**
