This does not surprise me. I had them for phone service at one point. They suck. Worst phone service I have ever had.

Sucks major ass for me because I had two phone numbers with them.
I prepaid for the entire year for both numbers, not to mention the hassle of getting the phone number transferred to another provider.

Other than Vonage, who is a piece of shit provider in its own right, are there better (more stable) alternatives out there?

Most cable companies now offer the same VOIP. That is what killed Sunrocket and do the same with Vonage.

Ya, I used Vonage for business, but it's just another fucking bill, and the second Comcast came through with VoIP it was hasta la vista.... and a motherfuckin chargeback.
