Do yourself a favor and have your bachelors party at least 1 week before the wedding. I had mine like 2 nights before and had alcohol poisoning for the rehearsal - fiancee and future mother and law were about to kill me a day before the wedding.

Also if you are in NY - I recommend Montreal for the bachelors party. What the strippers do there is strictly illegal in the US.

Good God I didn't know WF aff marketers were so anti marriage. I lived with my wife for 6 years before marriage, went through the ups and downs and she was always awesome. We always got along well, we were always a perfect fit for each other, and I mean, my wife LOVES FOOTBALL and HATES OPERA MUSIC. I couldn't find a better match than with her.

We've been together 13 years, married 7 of them, three kids, and I wouldn't change a damn thing. There's just something awesome about working from home, being up early and having a huge plate of breakfast bought to you without ever expecting it.

To each his own I guess. The player lifestyle these people in this thread talk about can get very depressing after a while.

If a guy is to the point of buying a wedding ring for a girl, I doubt you're going to convince him that there is "no point" in marriage. He is obviously way too far away from that mindset to have that realization.

Again, you can have an exclusive, even long-lasting relationship WITHOUT marriage.
