For those of you who have not seen this movie, you need to download it, rent it, get it off netflix, whatever- its an amazing movie! I watched it a couple times a few years ago and then just watched it again and I still love it just as much as the first time I saw it

I really liked this movie the first couple times I saw it... got cheesier the more I watched it but yeah... still a good flick. Definitely worth a watch.

Eh, it's alright... I mean, I don't think its that epic. Give me Shawshank Redemption, Escape from Alcatraz, The Great Escape, or The Bridge on the River Kwai if you want great prison / redemption movies.

Yeah it was a great movie. Great characterization. IMO, The Shawshank Redemption was better but TLC had a lot of action

Meh, it was watchable... but by no means good. The reviews on rotten tomatoes sum it up pretty well: The Last Castle - Rotten Tomatoes

The Great Escape FTW, classic.

Well watch it again. Cool Hand Luke is seriously one of the best movies I've ever seen and I've watched a great many films.

I've only in the last 6-8 years or so gotten into all those older classics like Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, High Plains Drifter, Good, Bad and the Ugly, etc etc.

Now I'm friggin' hooked on those suckers!

Ah - just looked at the cover for the Last Castle. Not a bad flick. I caught the last 2/3 of it on HBO a few weeks ago and thought it was quite enjoyable.

Like was mentioned above on the other flicks (escape From Alcatraz, etc.) I also caught another older flick recently that would appeal to you guys as well, Papillion! Also Midnight Express.
