You guys ever make spitball guns out of mechanical pencils? Like these
![]() I made a bunch of those in 3rd grade and sold them during lunch time. Soon after, kids started getting suspended for having them. Goddamn school regulations forced me out of business. Then pencil fighting got big in 6th grade. I had my mom buy me a ton of those fat pencils and I'd pump those before school. Then pencil fighting got banned too. Then I became a libertarian. |

I use to be really scammy when it came to basketball cards. I'd clip images of cards from magazines, stick them on the front of another card and then round off the screws in those hard covers. Fake signatures and all that shit..
I would con my school mates into shit trades by telling them you had to halve the book value listed in Beckett as it was American dollars and we're Australian. I'd say you had to double the book value as the prices listed were Australian and American cards have to be traded in American currency (at this time the AUD was around 50c) when I needed to get more value from my own cards. Looking back, I have no clue where that behaviour came from. |

Nothing as cool as you guys, but I would sell my class notes. I always took good notes, and at the end of the year students would be getting desperate around finals season and were willing to pay a few bucks for good revision material.
Always managed to sell a few packages at 10 bucks a pop. |

i knew a guy that sold basketball cards in middle school and KILLED IT. as soon as some dude found a David Robinson or some shit that was "worth" 20 bucks it would just be a run. like others here, he was shot down by the man hard. he was a capitalist in middle school and then became this really annoying airchair communist in college. go figure.

- Wholesale candy from Costco (middle school/highschool)
- Yugioh Cards and other various types of trading cards (early years) - Graphic designs (myspace layouts when myspace was huge. I should have built a fucking layout site) - Various gang's mixtapes ( I bought wholesale ) I was told I couldn't sell candy because they didn't know what was in the bag. I offered a skittles bag to the principal and he threatens to expel me. . . |

Pffft you guys ain't real businessmen. You gotta get that crazy crack candy that is hard to find. This was my stuff that got any kid in school begging to suck my dick for a hit.
BAM! Abra Cabubble ![]() most of you probably never even heard of this sweet kiddy crack. Thats because in most stores it was usually tucked away near the veggies in a big rack filled with other kinds of candies you had to buy by the pound. I sold these babies for 50 cents a pop. And everyone loved them. To this day I think they are the best candy/gum mix ever. Best thing was nobody knew where to get them and they always asked me where to buy them. Only through me baby, I never out'd my sources. I lived like a king until... I fell victim to my own stash.. I OD'd on Abra Cabubble, got fat and died... But then I was sent back until my task is finished... To be the greatest Abra Cabubble gum slinger ever. Abra Cabubble helped me become the marketer I am today.

Cigarettes and also sold porn a couple times. Could buy alcohol since I was 14 so I'd either ask for money up front or keep the change. Things progressed from there.
It seems half of wickedfire has moved weed at one point

Sure...I sold gmail invites when they were a big deal. Porn DVDs. And smuggled cellphones and ipods which weren't available in stores (India FTW). I dropped out in 9th grade so I never got the opportunity to get into the drug dealing business... ah well. The biggest cash cow was question papers of tests acquired beforehand. Each question sheet of a major exam would sell for $50 or more. I had to partner with some of the tougher kids for this business but still made good money for a kid... they'd acquire the papers and I'd sell them to the rich kids. No one gave a shit. No one studied or learned anything...

You want to hear a racket?
5th grade, friend and I colored on #2 pencils for $0.05-$0.10 based on the size of distance between the wood part and the lead. Every time they sharpened the pencils, the color went away! and they paid to get it repainted... Note got sent home, congratulating our entrepreneurship, but to cease and desist immediately because a school isn't a marketplace.. ...and that's how it all started |

Oh, and Marvel Cards. There was a technique for feeling packages for the hologram cards cuz they were slightly bigger than the other cards. Flipped those for 5 to 10 bucks to other comic geeks like myself.
