Look At Me NOW!

I started this to see how many people here have done it. I sold candy and little debbies in school to other kids, I also at the age of 19 sold mixtapes and cds. I always wished I had been in high school during that time I would have made like $1k a week from it easy.
Anway did you sell anything as kid if so what |

I used to play Tazos. Pokemon Tazos. I used to win a lot and then sell like 5 cents a piece. Wasn't making much because the school was aware of this stuff so we were playing in toilets mostly ... lol. Damn, good times but I didn't do homework or studies that much ... don't regret it though ...

Man when I was in highschool I used to sell anything that could bring me profit.
I remember one day when I gone to school and I had a new pair of shoe laces, like this: ![]() Nobody ever seen something like that until than. Nobody knew that I accidentally found that in a tailor shop. Everyone wanted shoe laces like that. Next day I bought about 30 pairs and sold all of them for about 5x of the original price. |

Nope. Gave away a bunch of Exlax disguised as candy chocolate to all the girls once, just for shits & giggles. That was about it for distribution during school years though. I thought it was funny, but apparently they didn't.

Slim Jims and gum were a big hit, but the main money maker was pirated movies/music/games/software in middle school, thank god I never got caught. Everyone was filling their computer with viruses on limewire while I was ballin with torrents, so I offered my services and people ate that shit up. Probably couldn't pull it off nowadays, everyone's using torrents now.

Sold CD's of porn for $10 a piece. Knew a guy at some shithole mexican swap meet that would sell me smokes when I was 14. Would buy a carton for $20ish and sell the individual packs for $15.

In first grade, I sold paper airplanes that I made. Then in 5th grade, I hustled Warheads (the sour candy). Got shut down by the man a few months in each time.

LOL. I sold candy and then moved up to other *fun* stuff with all sorts of acronyms. I once removed the label off an exlax pill and gave it to my friend as a roofie at a party. "Ummmm, guys, I'm not feeling that good." Hahahaha. It was so mean, but he had done something stupid which I now can't remember. |

haha man this is just my thing, I used to sell lady fingers and bottle rockets 25 cents a pop, buy a brick for like $20 make another $20 or some shit like that, You couldn't buy fireworks in canada unless it was victoria day, I actually had a friend that supplied me with this shit. That's straight gangsta, My street name was "Rocketman". Also when yo-yo's were cool I'd hit the mall and steal a bunch of them and sell off my yo-yo supply.

Only did this a few times, but I bought 4 packs of coke and pepsi for £1 then sold them for 50p each. Also bought multipacks of sweets and sold them seperately. Small change now, but decent money then.

When I was 14 I setup my own 'business'. I had about 500 Playstation 2 games, compilied a list, made a business card and handed it out saying I will burn them any game for 5$, and I just remembered, before this, I used to sell people whatever 10 music/album they wanted for $5 also, all from Napster and whatever p2p service was out back in the day... fucking nostalgia

SEO is the new SEO

I ran an underground candy reselling business back in 7th & 8th grade. This was in the late 80's. I would get my mom to by me bulk boxes of Nerds, Now & Laters, Candy Bars etc. from Smart & Final (bulk store). I'd pay $20 for a box and probably double my profit per box. I was selling a box and a half a week, so I was making $40-$50 profit a week. I ran that shit out of my backpack and it only ended because I got greedy. I knew better but I started selling during class and I got busted by my social studies teacher. I should have just kept it to in between classes and lunch. I probably could have taken it up to $100 a week profit if I had just kept it more on the down low. It was fun being the "candy man" and I learned a little about running a business. The cash was nice too.
