Silly little facebook app that has caught on face. Tripadvisor put a lot of work into it and deserve some kudos for it.

Just for kicks, $50 and some link love to who scores highest amongst the wankers here as well as my blog readers and Millnic publishers.

Word is that most Americans can't find themselves on the world map. From most of the inane shit that floats around here I suspect it may be true.

I made it only $50 so you wouldn't waste your time writing a script to answer the questions for you.

Damn, this is addicting. I keep getting 92. Canada and Texas are killing me, and it doesn't help that the map is so tiny for the middle east, either.

Not addictive at all. Got to level 7 and around 200,000 points and just got annoyed and bored. I missed three badly, the rest were close (the map sucks).

If you aren't into geography and travel this won't float your boat. But if you are then it is fun.

150k or so have added this app to their profile this week alone. Some people like it.

About a dozen have taken the challenge. Best challenger so far is at 370k or so.

). I've got about 1,000,000 miles driven under my belt. 48 states and 2 Canadian provinces.

And, it still annoyed me. Not the challenge or the questions, but the map more than anything. It just seemed like some things were way off. I couldn't tell so much on the world stuff, but the US didn't seem to be dead on.

No big deal, I'm prolly just being a nit-picky fuck.

There are a few places that are waaaaaaaaay off (Glasgow, Scotland being one). Nice game, but if it were accurate I could score much higher. I may give it a go later when I have more time, though.

I love Geography. Sadly, geography is not respected in America and most Americans probably can't find and name all 7 continents correctly, let alone specific countries on the world map.

BTW, making generalized derogatory statements about Americans is probably not a great way to make friends on Facebook, here or anywhere else. Not all Americans are as obtuse as you may kid yourself into believing. Additionally, your sweeping generalizations about any large group of people, American or otherwise, only serves to encourage the notion that you're not all that bright yourself.

I like the small map, makes you have to think harder, especially for some of the small islands that don't even show as a speck in the ocean.
