Hello,

We continually review all publishers according to our program policies (
https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=48182&stc=aspe-3pp-en
) and Terms and Conditions (
https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?&stc=aspe-3tc-en ). During
a recent review of your account, our specialists found that it was not in
compliance with our policies.

WEBMASTER GUIDELINES: Our program specialists regularly review sites in
the AdSense program.

It is important for a site displaying AdSense to offer significant value
to the end user by providing unique and relevant content, and not to place
ads on sites with little to no original content. Additionally, Google ads
may not be placed on non-content-based pages.

Your site should also provide a good user experience through clear
navigation and organization. Users should be able to easily click through
your pages and find the information they are seeking.

Because your sites violate the spirit of our policies, we have disabled ad
serving.

For more information, please review our program policies (
https://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/answer.py?answer=48182 ) and
Google's Webmaster Quality Guidelines (
Webmaster Guidelines - Webmaster Tools Help
).

As a result, your AdSense account has been disabled.

Additionally, as stated in our Terms and Conditions, publishers who have
breached this agreement may not receive further payment. The earnings on
your account will be returned to the affected advertisers. Please note
that this step was taken in an effort to protect the interests of our
AdWords advertisers, and to maintain the quality of the AdSense program.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

About my websites....

Most of the websites have 1-5 pages with unique content. (No duplicate content). US adsense account.
They are SEOed MFA EMD sites with CTR theme. (one link unit on top, one square block on right, one at lift slide bar and one square block at the bottom)

I wonder what caused this ban. Any guesses?

This is one of my 2 adsense accounts but this was the one generating the 75% of my adsense revenue and I wonder if I can use my other adsense account on the same sites after fixing the issues that caused ban.

And, just wondering I should do now for a better recovery?

Using the other account could get it banned straight away. Change the theme and add more content to some of the best performing sites, remove adsense from the others, then ask for it to be enabled again. Also ensure you don't have multiple sites in the same niche (eg multiple sites that could be logically consolidated into one site).

Unfortunately we have to jump through google's hoops from time to time.

Damn that sucks, sorry to hear that. When you say CTR theme is it the same exact theme or you mean the same layout on each site? Static HTML sites or WordPress or something?

Just PMed you one site. All other sites have the same theme, layout, etc

That sucks bro. If I were you I'd get a fresh account and apply it to those sites after you make the fixes. I got an account banned right after I put the code on some smaller sites like the ones you described. I don't mess with small EMD sites anymore but that's just my own personal fear.

I am not sure if they would unban the account. Will it work if I fix the things and re-appeal?

I would work on adding more content - treat it just like one of your pages that got slapped in the SERPs - when Google slaps you down add more REAL content, videos, pictures, custom articles etc.

Change the themes around a bit (visually don't worry about but the code and syntax).

Throw up some low-level program Chikita for now if you really want to try to salvage the earnings and wait a few months before asking them to re-enable.

Hope you didn't lose too much $$ from this month's earning. My first AdSense ban was when I was 16 - $400+ not paid out to me - and I still don't know why to this day.

That sucks. At least you have another account. I wouldn't put it on the banned sites if I were you and get any current sites off the CTR theme and scale down to two ads max. Hopefully adsense isn't your only source of revenue.

Not enough pages.

Too many ads. I max out on two these days.

The theme and URLs wouldn't have helped. How are the rankings now?

60% of the sites have only one page. fuck I was too lazy to put some more, did not look at it as they ranked well with just one page

Are 4 ads too many nowadays? I read from their guide that they allow 1 link unit + 3 ad block and though I was doing it right.

They rank the same (no changes)

It's not too many ads at all it's TOTALLY the 1 page of content.

Literally a week after I applied my code to thin sites (all under 5 pages) I got an account disabled. I always have more than 3 ads on my big sites without an issue, it's within there rules. They aren't going to ban you if you are within the rules.

I guess I can do the same as it worked out for you. This account's under my mom's name. I will apply again with a different address (her same SSN though).

I have one in my name and that's fine but not using it mainly as it's non-US and would cause an additional 2 week delay to get money as I am living in the US now (No taxes though for the money goes to that account).

Fuck. Best guess from me is the theme + the content being so thin made them ban you. I'd think even just having the same theme across multiple sites is enough to raise flags. Out of curiosity how many sites were built like this on this account?

Around 15. I added 5 new sites 2-3 weeks ago and they all ranked well and increased the revenue by 50%. That means there's a significant change in income recently.

Try to get it unbanned first.

I worry all the time about getting an Adsense ban out of nowhere. I'm way too dependent on Adsense at the moment. I have it on my large, legit websites and reluctantly use the same Adsense account for smaller websites.

And I'm too scared to register another Adsense account for the smaller websites because I wouldn't want to get banned for that, either.

You would have been fine with those ads, but I do think it's important to minimise that CTR to not attract any flags. If a manual check is made then too many ads with just a few pages would look very spammy. With tons of pages you would probably be ok, look at HubPages.

If your rankings are fine then that's good to hear. Build out the content and use a network like Kontera for now. Soon enough Facebook will launch their network and that'll probably blow Adsense out the water.
