.US domain not an us citizen - WickedFire - Affiliate Marketing Forum

Hello,

A long time ago I bought a .us domain and it all went fine, I had not trouble with it until today when I think I was reported by the competition and I have to introduce an address from US for my domain name.

Does anyone know if they will verify my, like ask me for my license driver or something like that or can I write any legit address and pass?

If anyone can help with this (a us citizen please PM me, I will pay for their help, thanks).

I think you have got a spoofed email. (If I'm right)

So, people who have .tv domain should be from "Tuvalu"? (Tuvalu is the country for the .tv domain)

Nu, it's true .us domains can only be owned by us citizens.

Y would love to do that, but unfortunately I don't really know any people from Us, that is why I am posting here

I would just pick a random us office building address.

I have a few .us domains and they have never asked for a drivers license or anything. All I had to do was check a box stating I'm a us citizen.

r3p1v, yeah, that's at the beginning but I was stupid enough not to enter an US address. I think it's a random check or something, or I was reported when they found that the address is not in the USA.
It's my bad, I will have to find a student or someone that can help me for a couple of bucks .

Why not just change the whois info to a random us address?

Is the domain locked or suspended or something? Did a human send you this email or was it like a general email?

I think it was a template email that they send in this cases, but they require me to answer them.
I did change the whois info. I hope they don't require any kind of verification.

They might, but I doubt it. They probably would have mentioned it in the email.

I've never seen any domain registrar try to verify whois data. They just say if it's not accurate you could lose the domain.

Also, I don't really know what I'm talking about lol. I've never had a problem with any of my domains. You should probably search around online for what happens if it is a valuable domain.
