I love psy-trance, late 90's early 00's, but not the trendy modern compressed shit with female vocals. Mostly I am rolling with a playlist filled with Astral Projection discography, on shuffle.

I'd have to agree. Though, am not much of a coder. I work a lot with wordpress, joomla and the likes. In simpler terms, I love listening to it when am working.

Never been a fan of Psy or Goa. I find that music too disturbing.

Even when am high, I prefer regular classic trance to the likes of Solartstone, Above & Beyond.

As far as female vocals are concerned, am sure this track will change your views.

sorry, no... Turned it off a bit after she started, it's just like trancy pop-music to me. Too much structure, verse-chorus stuff, the lyrics - sorta distracts the mind. True say. But solarstone is different. I'd still urge you to listen atleast to the first verse.

I personally respect Solarstone a LOT!

It's pure trance. There is a running watery bass and it's one of the few female vocal tracks that actually classify as trance.

I assure you - No Pop attached there!

Tiesto has moved on to Trouse. The guy's sound isn't even remotely close to trance these days.

DJ Mag listing is for the "best DJ" in the world. And it is not Genre specific. Plus the list holds no importance, since it is based out of "Facebook" Votes.

House/Commercial has a more fan following than Trance and so Guetta ranks number one.

Not a big deal IMO.
