It's actually not as large as you would think. The prototype fits well in the pocket

It's only a little fatter than an otterbox and houses a fucking stun gun!

There is a protective cap, you need to flip a switch, and push a button. All can be done within a couple seconds

Those couple seconds are the difference between life and death. Those couple seconds also provide a nice opportunity for a competitor to simply do this better

Either way still a cool idea for a first gen concept hope he does well

Very true.
We weighed the pros an cons of the additional security but felt that the additional safety was worth it. One of the biggest questions is about people zapping themselves so we made sure that is hard to do while still able to have it zap ready in 2 seconds

The product definitely isn't for everyone, but there is a pretty big market for it and that's what we are going after.
