Well, I've been working at my families piano store for the last couple of years, and learning about the internet marketing world for the last few months.
Long story short, my step mom works there, we don't get along, got into it today, and I just said "fuck it, I quit." I thought I had more money in my account than I do. I've been rockin' with Azoogle for the last month, but google just took $400 out of my account, so I'm left with rent money, and that's about it. Not the best time to quit a job, but I'm motivated now, I think I'll be okay. Azoogle owes me about $1200 on the 15th of next month. So, I'm asking you guys for some quick easy cash ideas. I have plenty of them, but I'd like some input, because without this forum I would have never made my first dime online. Idea 1. There's a website I know I can push on ebay. There's another guy selling around 10 of them a day. I've been tracking him with terapeak, and he's clearing $5k a week selling the websites and making the customers sign up through his hosting affiliate link. So, I've done a little of the same in my spare time, and people buy them. The problem is I'm making them sign up through my hostgator link, and it takes FOREVER to get paid from them. So I think I'm going to get a reseller account, start a little hosting company, and that way when the sites sell it's an instant payment into my paypal account. Idea 2. I have a landing page, keywords, and proof of ROI for a campaign with Azoogle. I was thinking about posting it for sale at DP, not sure what someone would pay for it, it's netted me $800 this month, and it could have been a lot more if I had more capitol for adwords. Do you think selling a profitable landing page with keywords, bidding strategy, ect would be a good idea? I wonder what that would be worth to someone? I really don't want to do it, but the problem is I need cash NOW. Anyway, I'm confident that I can make a living from this. This is probably my last post of the day, and I'm going to spend every waking hour from here on out figuring out a way to earn a living online. I'm thinking I should revamp my old blog, broke to ballin, because this could be an interesting journey. Anyone wanna take a prop bet on how soon I'll have to get a real job, lol. As scary as being thrown out into the online world with a few hundred bucks to my name is, I'm pretty damn sure I can hustle my way through this. The problem right now is building up some quick capitol to push through adwords. Any tips, advice, experience is greatly appreciated. I know most of you will think I'm crazy for starting out full time with only a few hundred bucks to my name, but I'm actually really excited. I'm motivated, and I'm getting a chance to do what I love. So now I gotta go do it.

I quit my "real" job in december, I knew nothing about internet marketing. I had 300 in the bank after my next months bills. That scared the shit out of me. I spent 13-15 hours a day learning the industry and took a risk of never looking for a real job again. I found a moving company that paid me 12 bucks an hour cash plus tips, it came out to about 20 bucks an hour. I only called them in emergency situations only ( Like if I was about to come up 400 bucks short of rent, I would bust my ass moving for a week.) I hated that job with a passion, so I was motivated even more. I have not called that moving job in 3 months now ( I make enough money online and it gets better and better.)
I equate my success online to a few things: 1 I love what I'm doing ( it doesn't feel like work) 2 I am addicted to this shit. I am riding my addiction to success. 3 I don't put all my eggs in 1 basket, I make revenenue off of about 20 different Ideas that I continue to build on. 4 I could have taken a job with A. more money , B. an easier day ( but I would have gotten in my comfort zone.) The moving job sucked and fueled me to success online. |

lol, thanks. I'm not real worried, although I probably should be. My only bills are $300 for rent, gas, food, insurance, internet, and hosting. So I don't hav too much to worry about right now. If I have to I'll go mow lawns for a day to cover the bills.

Good luck.. you'll be happy you made the jump. Things might be tight initially, but you seem to know what you're doing, so just keep workin' at it.
When you become wealthy, be sure write an ebook about your success and sell it in a WarriorForum circle jerk. |

OK, while I think it is a good move to move away from a day job (I am not there yet), you mgiht think about upping your accounting skills.
"I thought I had more money in my account than I did." Is a sure fire way to disaster. If you want to run a business, you HAVE to run a tight ship. No unaccounted expenses and/or income. ::emp::

Agreed. Very solid point. I didn't think google was going to bill me that quickly, but they did. I'm not usually terrible at tracking my expenses, but you're right, time to start keeping some serious books.
Thanks for the tip. Quote:

I wish you the best of luck man. Don't eat, don't sleep, just keep plugging away. It's actually better that you have no money saved up... it'll make you work that much harder.
Just work your ass off so you never have to go BACK to a day job.

Good job on having your bills so low. If you know how to code you could get a freelance that you could do in a day for $300. Just has to be the right niche of a job and you have to be proficient at coding. But wouldn't be two hard. A lot of people would pay a lot of money for the right things.
