What should we do to prepare for the Penguins?


  1. Stop buying backlinks
  2. Stop trying to make links ‘appear’ real
  3. Remove any paid links
  4. Clean up any noise you’re making in the index
  5. Fix crawl errors on your site
  6. Start building genuine, trustworthy links from reputable websites

That's a fucking bullshit lie. I've had sites remain dormant, with rather good information - yet they stay there. People are not going to start "linking to your site" unless you first advertise. Advertise being link building for some... Matt can eat a bag of dicks. The only way they can eliminate SEO is if they somehow make the first page a paid, sponsored or other form of "bought" position..
 
To do number 6, but number 1-2 nullify this. This is what I'm trying to explain. These fucking ass fucks at google need to realize that people need to "build links" to the site, and nothing can be done naturally.

Can't wait for "Penguin 2" which is actually Penguin 6 (who the fuck is in charge of algorithm version control anyway) so I can get rid of the rest of my competition.

As long as their is search, their will be SEO, fact.

Unless they make the whole first page paid... Like the first three options. I've mentioned this a few times. That would eliminate seo.

Then another search engine would come up, not as hungry for money as this one, and take all their users. First it was Yahoo, then was Google, I'm dead sure they won't be the last ones to dominate the search market, nothing lasts forever, even less in the internet.

.....And what if they don't make the whole page yellow, like they do now with the top 3 positions? You think 80-90% of consumers will know the dam difference? Do 80-90%+ advertise on google to "know better"? I doubt they would jump ship.... just my 02
 
The only way to beat google, would be to get a community of coders and marketers to start pushing a Open Source Search project. Now if there was just such a place that existed that had the talent to pull it off
 
DuckDuckGo is opening up more and more of it's source.

But I really don't understand all the whining about Google. Their job is exactly what they are doing. If you don't like it, get your traffic elsewhere and shut up.

So there's another update from Google,whats new about it?I just watched one of my authority site gone from 2k a month to $150-200 a month now,nothing really maters really.No matter how hard you try to play by their rules,those fuckers will always be here to fuck you.
