As a few of you delightful friends know, I'm doing a CS/physics double major. I'm talking a class on statistical thermodynamics + extrapolated quantum mechanics and it's getting really, really really fucking hard. You know it's bad when you spend an entire lecture in class and the teacher might as well have been talking in greek or spanish. On the homework I re-read the problems 2-10 times and still don't really get the question. Any physics majors out there wanna tell me a good study pattern to use and resources (cough cough papajohn)

maybe i really just am not smart enough to get this stuff, or maybe there's something missing in my education

And it doesn't fucking help that our physics teacher just hopped out of an EE+physics Ph.D program (literally just finished his dissertation) so he's still on super high gear. The sad thing is that I'm actually one of the better ones in class.

I'll just save you the trouble

You didn't ask any questions. I took all dem shits back in my day. Thermodynamics, Optics, Nuclear Physics, Quantum Physics, Statics, Dynamics, Nuclear Reactor Theory, Calculus 3, every math you can imagine... ask and perhaps ye shall receive.

have you tried studying...for real.
i breezed through my physics classes....of course i was there studying mathematics, so of course physics should be easy...i mean how hard is it to plug a number into a variable and compute

haha..jk...seriously...study the equations and do problems, it should help
