Checkthisout How much are Facebook Applications worth?

I have yet to find any sales of Facebook Applications and wonder if anyone knows how they are currently valued?

I would presume it's value would predominately be based upon the number of users it has using it and well it could be monetized.

A few applications have made it 'big'.

Here's one LendingClub To Close $10.26 Million Series A

While that helps a bit it still doesn't hope those without million users apps.

Let's say you have one with 10k users.. What's the worth?

You can't put a number on "users". VC's were investing on users around 2000 before the bubble.

The "worth" of your application it its potential to make money. I'd rather have 1000 paying users than 10 million free users.

I would rather have 10m free users than 1k paying users because 10m is a huge base and you can market something ELSE to them that will bring money out. And 10m free users = huge revenue through advertising.

neways facebook apps are valued based on users/potential to profit so actually its not a set formula

This is fucking nuts. Man I hope investors slow this down a little bit, I don't want to see another round of irrational exuberance.
