so i'm chillin out having my morning beer, and as i am watching cnbc, i see this ad for 18worknow.com make money at home do no work, bla blah blah standard BS. so i type in 19worknow.com and i get the same landing page as the ***crazyfox.com (insert any 3 numbers ***) and it is the exact same. i think these are either competing or the same person. but anyways to the point...
go to 18worknow.com - Google Search notice how THEY AREN'T RANKED IN THE TOP 10. someone (shhh) has ranked using a blogspot (ROFL) blog #1 for their domain name, and has A DIFFERENT PROGRAM THEY ARE PROMOTING. sorry if you read this thinking you were gonna find out how to make money, that isn't what it is for. I am pointing this out to show you all the big picture here, and that is you must stay on top of your game, and think everything through or someone will rape your ass and use your money for their benefit. this is the perfect example, someone is spending loads of cash on daytime cnbc commercials, and other people are taking advantage of them. a wide varriety of white and blackhat techniques are likely being used here including "google bowling", and the standard wordpress/blogspot blogs and throwing up a couple links to rank them for the chosen term. This is what I like to call "Pirate SEO" - Take no prisoners, take only their money... |

This is a neat trick and has been talked about before... for instance someone said bidding on the advertisers keyword or URL (they're typically less strict about it than a big corporation) and put out a huge list of all make money infomercials out there. If you can rank for their shit, all the better.

If you can register the wwwtypo.com, then you can get some good traffic sometimes. www18worknow.com has been regged since 2005. When I lived in the US, I grabbed a few www names that I saw in commercials, some have done decently for me.

Maybe I'm biased, but I think they are a bunch of fags when they can afford to put up a commercial, but they can't even be creative enough to come up with a catchy domain without any numbers in it. And I know they put the numbers in there for tracking, but just come up with different stupid work from home phrases to use.
