I don't post here much, but I do lurk. Thought I'd share one of the most impressive examples of website cloaking I've ever seen.

For the search phrase "" (around 30,000 UK monthly searches) most of the results are cloaked websites for .

Here are just a few of the websites that use cloaking for ...

I'm not outing, because it doesn't matter. The affiliates using this technique are recycling the first page results with new cloaked websites every other month. The guy's behind this constantly have at least 4 websites on the first page pointing to their website. They also target other competitive keywords across the keyword spectrum...

These guys are making more money than you'll ever make, but you're probably not impressed.

Unnecessary outing.

It is always valuable to see a real life SEO case study that is apparently working, but you could have explained the method and concept without citing the example.

Stop outing.

Having said that, any takes on the cloaking mechs?

Why wouldn't the same cloaking methods from 5 years ago work today?

Check to see if the ip address is in the database. If it's not in the database see who owns it. Is the company on your internal black list? If so add the ip address to the database and cloak otherwise redirect them to the real lander.
