Personally I don’t give two shits about EWA but watching the meltdown has been entertaining.

Anyway I was I found this on another forum, the guy is a US based lawyer and is offering to buy EWA debt for $0.30 in the dollar. I assume he is buying the debt for 30% of the value and is then going to sue Ryan for the full 100%.

I am an US based attorney who has been practicing in New York for over 20 years. In light of the recent events regarding EWA I am offering to buy any outstanding balances you are owed by EWA for 30% of its value.

inb4 EWA hires pretend lawyer (probably on fiverr) to buy EWA debt at 5% & avoid suits.

inb4 lawyer never pays because the postal service must've lost the check.
 
I laugh at this, What difference will it make. You can't get a watermelon threw a garden hose, Meaning they can sue all they want but they can't make someone give what they do not have.

Bad example about 14 years ago i lived in New Hampshire and was less fortunate then i am today i bought a gateway pc on credit, I never paid it , well 5 years ago i got a phone call from some legal team in Texas. They said you will be happy to know we purchase your debt and are calling to find out how we can resolve this and wanted to offer you a payment plan. What is your opinion on this.

My reply was my opinion was you just made a poor business move, i mean i did not pay gateway in 9 years so what ever gave you the idea you would have better luck is beyond me.

Now that i reminded my self about this i still never took care of that and the point here is hiring a lawyer or selling your debt to a collection agency doesn't mean shit.
 
Maybe the lawyer's starting a new company? LWA - Legal Web Assets?
