How to make animated GIFs?

What's an easy way to make an animated GIF?

I recently saw a video that I want to make one out of.
 


I'd cut the part I want out with Sony Vegas or w/e then import it in photoshop, crop, lower resolution, save as gif

GIF movie gear gets the job done, but I still prefer Adobe CS to get it done
 
Pshop CS5 & Sony Vegas is what I generally use. Piece of piss.

(Vegas to edit the clip down to the frames I want, then add any extra layers in 'shop)
