Ron Levy is the man. There should be some type of award given to him or made in his honor. He is the true father of ALL affiliate marketing. He's the one who started it on the internet, and yet no one seems to know the full story.

Back in 1995/96 Cyberotica was pulling in $1.5M-$3M a DAY, everyday for years. That was without affiliates too. They were the true pioneers of PPC/CPM payouts, then they invented the whole CPA model for the internet, everyone has since copied them and claimed to be innovators and pioneers themselves, and just to show you how much of a stand up guy Levy was, he never once bitched or complained about it (may have been the $300M+ rev/profit per year that helped).

It really bothers me to this day how people in all parts of the internet advertising and marketing industry pay little to no respect to the adult industry and what they did for everyone. Take all of your religious and social opinions and leave them behind you, because without the adult industry and Ron Levy, affiliate marketing, ppc, content delivery/streaming, hosting developments, mobile entertainment and billing, and a ton of other aspects we depend on for income and marketing everyday would not be possible.

The internet adult industry will always have my respect, and people like Ron Levy deserve it. Ron was like the Hugh Hefner and Larry Flynt of the internet adult industry. Seriously. Why are there no awards for this guy?!
