Are there any others here like me who fail? I read a lot of posts and most WF members seem to be blinging hardcore, whereas I make a few bucks here and there.

Who's with me?

I think the people you are referring to have been doing it a very long time. I sure hope they are blinging, otherwise I might as well hang up my hat right now.

How long have you been trying? what are you doing? have you tried all of the stuff you've seen on here? or just one or two things?

I'm so brand new to this stuff that I can't really say either way. I'm trying something that feels right to me (What correctAD posted a while back) and only time, and alot of work and heart, is going to show if I'm profitable. Most likely I'll fall on my face and I'll just have to dust off and try again.

Or drown myself in catnip.

Dude. I fail all the time. Even to this day. It's part of life and business in general. The difference is when you fail, if you learn from your mistakes, or realize you've failed and fucked up and get back on the horse and try again.

Also it helps that I'm an Atheist.

(there's a point I promise)

I just think THIS IS FUCKING IT. THIS ALL YOU GOT. SO STOP FUCKING AROUND AND WASTING THE ONE CHANCE YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU'RE BLINKED OUT OF EXISTENCE FOREVER.

It's highly motivating.

We all screw up all the time - I probably have more "failures" than success. The success adds up and the failures teach me what to do next.

Just tear into any idea you have - test it - and if it works do it again.

The secret is probably work though - if I don't try new things (which take work) I don't succeed or fail. I just end up reading forums :)

Go do something. Finish it. Move on to the next thing. Before you know it your successes will be adding up and the failures won't matter except to show you what not to do next time.

What are you?...a jewish cowboy or somethin ;)

I've failed and continue to fail. Actually i don't think I'll ever succeed unless I learn to put 100% into my plans (I always start at 100 and then taper off to 80 or so and consequently fail)

failures are always lurking in the background. It's easy to watch TV and see all these rich successful people around you. If you want a more balanced perspective just chill at any public place for a while and really pay attention to everyone who walks by. That always reminds me why I'm well off (relatively) even if I never put something together.

Failing only makes you smarter and motivated. And if it doesn't, you're going to be one of those 80% of people who give up right before they make it.

PS: I fail at life everyday.

These motivation threads are starting to come back at around one new one every week or two... wtf?!

+1 this is the reason I have succeeded. Just keep going!

An expert is somebody who has failed every way possible... no where else to go but up once you've learned to fall everyway possible.
