No, because you can go to namecheap.com and buy the exact same domain for like $8.88.

You weren't talking about domains, Bam bam, right?

I don't know anything about their appraisals, so no help from me either.

first go to dnforum, digitalpoint or namepro, make a thread and ask others to appraisals.

don't waste money to get an appraisals unless you think you can get thousand out of it

You can do your own appraisal...

Just park it, let it sit for 30-60 days. Take the revenue per day, avg it out, multiply by 30, then multiply that number by 12 (for one year). Then you can value it based on the revenue it generates alone. The rest of the stuff people use varies, but if it has solid backlinks, search engine rankings and traffic, and generates more than $25 (so many domainers own domains that do $5k+/mo) a month in revenue, then don't let it go just yet. Milk it first so you get at least 10x what you paid for it, and then sell it for an even bigger profit. Plus, if you build a site on it that also generates revenue (could be a little more than what you make off it being parked or the same) the value will shoot up by around 6x-10x the current value. So the more you develop and add, many times, the more valuable it becomes (unless you get stupid and make it into a site that everyone and their mother has, like an arcade site or proxy site, then you're going to devalue the shit out of it so that you'll have to pay people to buy it!).

Definitely ask around. Don't just trust any random member on a forum. Don't bother paying for an appraisal unless you are 90% sure that the value will be worth over the $3,000 mark at the lowest, and that you can actually sell it fairly quickly. Because if you're getting it appraised just so you can feel good about yourself, you are just wasting your cash. If you do choose to get it appraised at a few different places, just combine their values and avg it, and then take off 10%-20% and THAT will be your final number.
