I've bought the game 'gunman' from a local store here... that also gave you hl1 and cs
via steam it costs 20$ tho.. Steam - Counter-Strike

do you still need half life to play it i havent played it for 4 years?

you can buy hl1 for about a 5er probably in those value range of pc games. and cs is just a mod for hl1 (and its free).

you probably want hl2 though. its better

i think a lot of people that play a lot of cs still use cs 1.6 though

you're wrong about that now... steam changed their stuff a few years ago.. you can buy the halflife 1 package now or the cs package-.- there's no cs in the hl package anymore
