WP auto/mass installer? - WickedFire - Affiliate Marketing Forum

I'm looking for a wordpress auto/mass installer (preferably free)

I have a blog setup with all the correct plug-ins and everything and just want to copy all the settings and setup onto another domain with another template.

I checked out wpinstaller.com but it looks like the site isn't being updated anymore and I can't download the plug-in or add a domain in my control panel

There's also Wordpress Auto Install Plugin - but it doesn't look like it's been released yet.

Any suggestions?

but I don't know php and I'm not sure how this is going to work. Do I just install a new copy of wordpress onto my new domain and create a new database and update it with this wp-config script?

I was thinking about setting up WPMU but everybody seems to have trouble with it, so I didn't go that route. Is there a walk-through anywhere?

Wordpress MU is easy - your hosting just can't be crappy like 1 and 1.

WPMU is designed for many blogs on one domain, so if you're wanting to auto-install blogs on separate domains it wouldn't be the right tool for the job anyway.

Has anyone used that installer in the RAR link with success?

WPMU is easy to install, just talk to your host if it doesn't work. Mine were moronic and took forever to add a little piece of code.

I used the this 'n that tutorial to set up a bunch of blogs on subdomains since I'm using 1&1 and can't get MU installed.

By "one domain" I mean one root domain, you can of course set up blogs on their own sub domains.
