I just got home.. one hell of a fucking crazy night. I will spare lots of the weird details that I can't even explain myself. This was definitely one of the most fun and interesting to date..

I went to my friend's party at his place. Tons of people there that I hadn't seen in years. Lots of cute chicks. Then there were the guys that really piss me off. The ones who act like chicks when they drink too much and constantly say "ohhhh I'm soooo drunk, I had 6 Jello shots!" Wooo you big man you! And of course the number goes higher and higher even though they haven't had anymore.

So this one douchebag rubbed me the wrong way from the start of the night when he spilled beer on one of my chick pals, and didn't even bother to apologize. I knew something was going to happen with that fucker. I'm normally able to hold in my anger pretty damn well, and not resort to violence like I used to as a kid in HS (yeah yeah, I know, this skinny Jew used to get into brutal fights ALL the time, for fun!). So by the end of the night, this lil douche ended up falling over and dropping yet another drink on my friend's bed, and that's when I just lost it. I'm not sure why either, because I had never seen him before and wouldn't ever since then, but something inside of me just had to go over to him and make sure he got decked. So that's what happened. And holy shit, I miss that absolutely awesome rush of being in a fist fight. This completely raw euphoria of adrenaline surge overcomes you, and you don't feel pain and you pretty much lose all control over 'correct decision making'. I ended up pummeling the crap out of him, although he did get a few gut shots on me, and those are definitely going to hurt like hell tomorrow, but it was SO worth it. I also had the honor of hauling him out by the shoulders and literally chucking him out of the front door (with the help of another pal). God that feels good. I don't care how juvenile people think fighting is, it sure feels good to get all of that out of your system, and many times, like this one, is waaaay better than just resorting to rubbing one out!

On a side note, two of my best friends had to be taken to the hospital by way of ambulances because they nearly drowned themselves in binge pre-gaming and drinking throughout the night. I feel bad, but I don't want to let it hit me until this high from the fight goes away. I guess if they are still there later tomorrow/today, whatever, I'll go visit them and scold them for being dumb and drinking too much, but maybe now they'll learn their lesson, or maybe not, it's up to them, but I still love them!

I'm definitely ready for 2008 now. I hope it's as challenging and rewarding as the first few hours of the new year were for me. This was EXACTLY what I needed, as fucked up as it sounds, to start the year off with a bang (although that would have been great too, but I won't push my luck just yet).

One of the best ways to let off some steam man. Good 'ole fist fight. I remember many years ago when I was back in school, I sent this guy to the nurse after a fist fight. That was fullfilling

Only one of the best ways.

My wife and I continued our tradition of the last several years.

Instead of going out and dealing with a bunch of post-lobotomy drunks, we make our own fireworks.

Sat with beer and drunk away the night.

Yes, we actually sit around the kitchen table all night rolling our own rockets and other assorted fireworks using a recipe handed down from mother to daughter at the day of marriage.

I live in the Northeast so one of my "reality gigs" in the winter is to plow driveways. I'm out in the sticks and got a 1000ft driveway myself so I figured I'd pickup some work to pay for the plow gear. I got about 30 driveways and a few camp roads netting me around $750 every storm for about 5 hours work. It's actually kind of fun - the dog likes to ride shotgun, I blow a few bones and crank tunes the whole time. Keep one PBR pounder packed in snow in the back of the truck for ride home.

Got back around 10 last night - the girlfriend had a hot meal waiting. We got into the wine, lit a fire, blew another bone and then I plowed the shit out of her. All is well in the 'Lobber camp. Happy New Year!

i got fucking plastered at my friends house. too plastered. i spent the whole day drinking beers, maybe a 12 pack by the time nighttime rolled around. i was good then, but then i had a few red bull and vodkas... shit i dont even remember the ball dropping. i remember puking a few times, and i remember getting sucker punched.

god damn i was shit faced. all i know is i got home at like 5 AM and im hungover like a fucking champion. all in all, i got way too smashed to have any fun.

I feasted on lobster, steak and shrimp - drank enough to relax and chilled with some friends. Lack of fireworks availability in az continues to piss me off.

out with my favorite lady. We played Boggle, Scrabble, took a walk
together and basically enjoyed each other's company.
