Did everyone see Zac Johnson's most recent post showing his check he received from Yahoo? I know many of you hate these kinds of threads, but it really intrigues me and I give guys like this props. I make pretty good money myself, but nothing near that sort of profit!!! Seeing posts like that keeps me motivated when I start getting comfortable with the current income I make. If it wasn't for those types of threads I'd get too complacent with my current income and not push myself even more. Those posts make me more richer usually after reading them because I usually go in overdrive after reading them.

SORRY, THE CHECK WAS ACTUALLY FOR $306,000. THE POST TITLE PROFIT WAS FOR 4 MONTHS.

I would have a lot more ZJ if he didn't:

a) post this stuff under the guise of "showing people what's possible" rather than what it really is, linkbait and self e-peen stroking. and

b) didn't sound like such a damn informercial in that video. and seriously, you really need to make not only photos of you with your checks but a video of your stats?

I believe this was a response to a post I made kind of calling out affiliate bloggers for posting blog revenue and not affiliate revenue (the industry they're supposed to be gurus in).

Impressive check yes and it's nice to see he made some money, but :

a) It's two years old.

b) It's not really the best response because it just looks like it came from MFA sites and not really affiliate marketing.

Couldn't agree more. The only significant cash ZJ makes from affiliate marketing is from his downlines/referrals since he basically self-spams his entire blog with referral links and other garbage.

yeah back in those days people were getting like $1 clicks from yahoo ads on myspace sites when google adsense was giving like 10c a click.. it didnt last long obviously. Most of em got banned from yahoo eventually and their revenues dropped a shitload with adsense instead.
