What someone who is trying to sway your opinion about them says and what they are all about are 2 very different things. I think the best indicator of future behavior is past behavior (as quoted by Dr. Phil )

Project Vote Smart - Senator Barack H. Obama Jr. - Voting Record

I haven't made up my mind about who I'm supporting regardless of their party affiliation yet, although I do have a favorite or two. But I am making sure I don't take their speeches and debates so damned seriously. It's a game where everyone who is running is trying to convince you to LIKE them by promising you what they think you want to hear.

As an independent I've been struggling to decide who I will vote for this upcoming November.

You're giving them both too much credit.

Damn his voting record is hard to determine due to the fact he didn't vote in 75% of the votes. Most people would be fired for missing that much work.

I say we empty out the prisons, give the immigrants an open invite by way of Iraq and Conair all those motherfuckers over there. Turn it into one big Mad Max movie - "welcome to Thunderdome bitch!"

You are correct! Unfortunately, to politicians it is a game; however, no citizen should vote for anyone who speaks out of both sides of their mouth. Thanks for the nice link. It looks very interesting.

Of the 417 votes tracked by Project Vote Smart for Senator Obama, it shows him “not voting” in 129 (30.90%) of them. On the flip side, of the 794 votes tracked for Senator McCain, it shows him not voting in 183 (23.30%) of them. I suppose there were more votes tracked for McCain because he has been there longer than Obama. So, it appears that Obama skipped almost a third of the votes while McCain only skipped a quarter of them. Not a stellar record for either. Oh, and I didn’t major in math either.

Your right I didn't BUT I do have a degree in common sense. Obama, open borders and most of the left wing crap just don't make any sense.

One of the greatest things about CAPITALISM that I love is that it is based on the assumption that PEOPLE OWN THEIR OWN LIVES.

Everyone's worried about the terrorists

Everyone is so damn worried about the terrorists. Fuck I'm more worried about the moron we have in power. This guy is the real terrorist, if you actually look at his actions. The way things are going we will have shit for civil rights by the time the next president comes in, bush is stripping them by the day. Mark my words, there will probably be another staged "attack" and bush will exercise the bill he just passed allowing him to assume power for another 10 years becoming our dictator. Would you really be surprised, given his previous actions?

As for our borders...

Do you really think any supporter of the North American Union is going to agree with a wall around our border? Come on now. Pretty soon their won't be a difference between US and Mexico or Canada.

Solution... You bring our fucking troops home and put some of them on the boarders. Problem fucking solved, politicians are just complete morons.

This would greatly help our crashing dollar too by not spending a few million every hour we are in Iraq. Kill two birds with one stone, imagine that.

Let's face it, America is FUCKED with any of the three candidates. They are all shit, cept for Ron Paul (the only one that actually makes sense).

Hillary supports the war (contrary to what you may have thought), likes the idea of forcing everyone to pay for healthcare even if they don't want it, is in cahoots with the bush family. Member of the CFR, the rich corrupt bankers love her.

McCain wants to kill everyone outside of the US, he will probably die before his term is over of old age. He starts ever speech with, "My friends." I'm not your FRIEND, stop calling me that.

Obama is cousins with Cheney, who has been a true blessing to our country... need I say more?

Anyway you slice it, it really doesn't matter who gets elected. Our country is run by the elite bankers, the politicians are simply puppets on their strings. If you think anything is going to change you've got another thing coming.

I finally watched Sicko over the weekend - regardless of what you think of Michael Moore, it's certainly an interesting film.

After Hillary's convenient U-turn on supporting HMOs (and accepting their donations), I really don't think you guys should trust her.

I don't believe that Obama (or his wife) really, truly wants an informed public...

McCain might do a good job.... by uniting the rest of the World in opposition to US Imperialism.

Mustread "Genius Noob" back to teach the ANONYMOUS small genital-ed "pros" a lesson.

Well, if you clicked on it, that's on you... no small genital is this man... huh?

Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

I am the President of the United States Dot Com.

It's not about money now people, it's about making a difference. I don't have ads on my sites, I don't need the money anymore.

(I like to come here though because money obsessed, least common denominator types who lack brain power and creativity seem to hang out here as if doing so is going to change their lot in life.)

Of course there are many great wonderful beautiful people here. Everyone is... what is the same about many though is how they think.

They think like everyone else. See the thing is, they give a shit what other people think. I cry laughing when people seem to think that I care what negative things that have to say about me. They make it clear to anyone who gets life and people that any problem you have with someone else... because of what they are writing... well... that person is pushing YOUR buttons... the problem is yours.

So people, how about this man... how about this story unfolding before our very eyes. History in the making... MLK and JFK type history people. I am so inspired it's contagious.... okay, maybe not here... but maybe so.

If the real Barack Obama showed up in a chat room... people would go ape shit.

I'm gonna have some fun with that real virtual estate when I get around to it.

The Yes We Can video gives me chills.
It's almost like we're back in the '60s, think about it...

The Obama's can take the sh!t to St. Elsewhere.

Since Jon isn't running, I suppose Ron Paul will have to do.
