Interesting 48 day challenge

48 days until I turn 48 was on Valentine's Day again (for anyone who remembers my 47 day challenge). I had my most successful month right after I did the challenge last year, so here I am again.

April 2, 2008-I will be 48.

Anyone who wants to challenge themselves along with me can do it for 48 days and it can end after my birthday or get a late start and have a shorter challenge and finish up with me on my birthday.

Here's my post about my goals for the next 48 days-48 Day Challenge.

Jan,

Thanks for the group home support link in your signature. It has really helped me to deal with most of the other people on this forum.

My goal is to not drink a pot of coffee and listen to trance at the same time as I often end up chewing on my lip and can't focus.

Now drinking a pot of coffee is ok.
Listening to trance is ok.

But doing them together always ends up down a rocky road.

what happened to the hat in your avatar? you wash it in a load of whites.

Trance ain't what it used to be... I always go back, to what I feel, is the best trance CD ever made.

Dave Ralph - Tranceport 2 - Disc 2

Amazon has disc 1 and 2 mixed up... disc 2 is actually the good one with Madagascar, Toca Me, and Velvet. Disc 1 is garbage though.

50 minutes of amazingness.

Just searching for a download. I agree, the older stuff is much better.. or is that just showin' my age? Hitting 30 this year.. fuck.

Oakenfold - Perfecto Flouro.... Sasha & Digweed - Northern Exposure

Cheers Jan, you've inspired me to set myself a personal 30 day challenge for the last month of my twenties (argh!) Good luck with yours.

Of course, I'll jump on this challenge because its for my mom. Truthfully if I only finish my first goal, I'll be happy.

1. Finish my mom's Database site on health
2. Post the "5 Simple Steps on Link Development" Article on my Blog
3. Develop the Paintball Video site for my Paintball SEO Empire
4. Have $1,500 in my savings account
5. Pay the tax man... I'll enjoy this one the most. NOT!
6. Rank 1st in Google for the keyword "lymph node" with my Lymph Node site, currently ranking 2nd.

There you go boys and girls my 48 day challenge.

I guess we'd need more goal posting first . What kind of prize do you have in mind?

Maybe who ever posts goals gets put in a drawing (sometimes seeing other's goals can be motivating) and then for each goal accomplished get another entry to the drawing?

Any other ideas from anyone?

Some people will have to work harder to pack 48 days of work into less days if they didn't start on Valentine's Day!
Maybe it could be renamed the 48th Birthday Challenge

Does this mean I won't have time to hang around WF?

I'm game!
1. Put up 2 new (Xsitepro) article sites out every week (That is 9 cause I can't count either)
2. Figure out what the hell long tail keywords REALLY Mean and how do I use them.
3. Find out if affiliate is really a swear word and if so, how do I use it properly.

Bob Schmuck is here and he was just talking to me about finding long tail keywords! Here's a link he gave me long tail keywords.
I haven't had a chance to read it yet, he gave me the crash course this morning, and I'll read this post later today.

clownstep has a spectacular aura about
I'm not sure if you're joking about long tail keywords but, it's just a phrase that's 3-4 words.example:this would be a broad keyword: "dating" this would be a long tail keyword: "dating women in chicago"

The trick is picking the long tail keyword that is searched enough AND has minimal competition. Bonus would be if it is a high paying keyword.

UPDATE
With the extra effort I've put out since I started my challenge, I'm close to doubling my highest earned per day average! I haven't broke into averaging over a dollar a day yet, but I know it's coming and I won't give up even though it is slow coming.
I have caught up with my posting and have posts written and scheduled (using "edit timestamp" w/WP) for the next week.
I have been contacted by someone who does webinars for group homes and wants to talk to me about being a guest!

"never going to let me down" I'm working on a buck a day too, nice to hear not everyone is a millionaire at WF . Got 4 sites set up so far, so ahead of my challenge.

lol on "never going to let me down"

Good job on getting ahead of your challenge. I'll be catching up with mine this week. Thur I have off and the girls will be having friends over so I won't be interrupted much and I found out I have Sunday off all day (the only plan other than internet is an Easter BBQ)!

Damn...

I am in the process of missing all my goals, but... (hah!)

- Started and implemented a new site for webmasters (soon on WF)
- Started, implemented and already cashed in on an aff. offer

So I do not feel all that bad, right now.

Quick update, I had my highest monthly income ever last month with income from Adsense and Kontera-$24.93. If a paid review counts, add $5. Previous high was last May....just under $18. Last March I made less than $3 for the month!

I have had a serious, very painful personal family problem happen about a week ago that got worse this past Monday. I still have to deal with it, but have a slight let up tomorrow and will try to post.

A WF break always does a body good!

(Can the salt in tears burn through eyeballs? I think it might be able to the way my eyes feel! I trust things will work out and I'm doing better today).
